The reset notification is correct because it means the quest is reset and you can take it again. However in order to take the quest again you have to leave the island and go back on.
I'm pretty sure this is by design and not a bug, to stop exactly what you tried to do. The daily is a daily from reset to reset, so why should you be able to use tokens collected on the previous day, when you can't take those tokens from the island?

If this was the intention, then I should not have received an on screen notification that I had deposited 20/50 tokens... the bug is there

its not actually a bug .. i think .. to get the reset on the quests u need to leave the island and come back .. then only the quests reset .. is what i found a while ago

Then indeed it is a bug, as a notification appeared on my screen that the quest had been reset whilst I was in TA at 13:00.  If the intention is that you must leave the island, then the notification of the reset should not appear.

Yesterday I had a daily quest marked as Legendary... it should have been marked as IMPOSSIBLE

The quest was to defeat 675 Legendary creatures for the prize of 1 extra combat set

Which would have been possible to achieve if any legendary creatures were spawned throughout the realms... but it was not a legendary event time, so there were zero legendary creatures in any of the realms (nor any in scavenging caves as that event had finished)

Somewhat disappointing that daily quests are set yet are impossible to achieve... the Cows need to amend this so things like this do not happen again

Otherwise, for the quests that are possible to achieve, great work... I was just left miffed that quests that cannot be achieved are listed  

In contrast to this idea, I would like to see more arena's for players below lvl 1,000.  Atm, the majority of the arena's that give tokens as rewards are for lvl 1,500 and above, meaning us smaller folk almost never get the chance to compete for them.

I quite like the daily quests.  As a returning player, it has been good to see the Cows have added the quests to increase interest and activity within the game.  10/10 from what I have seen, though I will likely only do the ones that appeal to me
