No. No. No. Stop trying to fix what is not broken.  If the admin do what you are asking, I will never be able to advance in composing at any rate, not that I'm in a hurry or anything.

There are so many  things in the game that they are working on right now. No wonder it  seems to be taking forever for them to get anything done, please give them a break and let them work on the time line and things of that nature.

That would be a disservice to the players that put time and effort into composing to get to the higher levels.

Buying % XP and gaining hundreds of levels isn't a "disservice to the players that put time and effort into leveling"??

This is not fix ... its just additional upgrade that would increase demand on fsps and that will increase donations i guess

And look at the result of that...4 years ago there were 2000 players on line from levels 1-1000, now you have 400 players on line from levels 1-2450. If you're a leveler that "invested" in XP events to speed up the process you are now at EOC clamoring for more content...if you're a PvP'er you're looking at a virtual wasteland of targets in your +/- 10 range. That's what you get with the double XP events.

Rocknoor. How are those things linked in any meaningful way? They're not. Let's keep the baseless supposition outta the forums please.

I believe his last statement to hold some truth.

People lose interest when there's nothing left to be attained, or any "challenge" left, and I am sure many would agree that this game has been lacking a real "challenge" for a long time.

BG, if you're asking how composing and leveling were linked that was done by the person I quoted, if it's in response to my statement about the number of players on line and the 1-2450 levels statement and double XP events then I believe there is a linkage. This game is top heavy with high level +2000 players and it got that way with double XP and in some cases triple XP events.  New players come to the game play it for awhile, look at the disparity between the high level players and where they are and leave because it's to hard to get started in a meaningful way.  The game is based on FSP's and stamina in order to advance your character, gold at a starting level is minimal and a hunt for a player starting out won't even garner anywhere close to 1 FSP's worth of gold. So I, as a beginning player, look at the game and  realize that any substantial gain to my character requires a substantial monetary investment, and I go elsewhere.  BG, in order for any game to flourish it requires new blood and that has not been the case for FS for some time.  You need look no further than the current guilds, once you get past the top 10 guilds most of the guilds are populated with "inactive" players or are inactive themselves. With an "aging" player base (+2000 level players) you are forced to cater to them to keep them interested but there seems (from my point of view) little done to keep the new players that enter the game...they try it out and then leave and that does not grow the game it just leaves it stagnant. Again my opinion feel free to disagree.

In my mind there is alot of difference in buying current stamina and power leveling and buying compose levels.  This will only allow richer players an easy (but expensive) way to level in composing.

If you think about it we already have a way to gain CXP to gain a level...

it's called Instant Finish

I insta  finish some of the potions I make because I sometimes have more cash than I bank or spend in the ah. AH buys are limited by the amount of back pack spaces I have open at the moment. :)

I do have chests to hold, and truth potions to hold because they are sometimes hard to get when it's time to hunt. lol

I also like to have some of the potions for the next hunt, in place in my bp so I don't have to wait on many of them.

Believe it or not, I have a life outside of FS. lol  I have fun here but this only feeds my amusement needs, not a roof over my head, or food on the table nor any of the things needed to be able to come here and spend a few hours chasing things around and reading in the forums. :)

I don't really think we need a sliding scale for gaining experience when composing.  I still call  any upgrade a fix, no matter what anyone else calls it. V.1. 1.5. 2. 2.5 LOL  Upgrades still change the basic base that we started with.

What's wrong with the base we all worked from to get to where we are going?  Go fast, go slow, spend a lot, spend a little.

It is up to each player to decide how they will do what they do.

Roll with it folks. lol
