Hi all!

 

Firstly, we've created a pinned thread for the Fallen Sword App beta that has a list of all the milestones (and which one is in-progress / done. The aim of this is so the milestones don't get lost within other threads on the forum when the Fallen Sword App Update threads get pushed down the forum.

 

We're pretty much done with v0.1 (except for some bug fixes and minor tweaks) and have submitted a version of it to Apple for them to review and approve for testing. There is a similar process for Google Play which we are also doing today. This is for internal testing, but providing nothing major comes up, it's likely we'll do another build later next week which we'll be able to let you try out if you're interested in testing it.

 

My video skills are pretty bad, but I took a quick video of how the app is looking on Android tablet to let you see it working. Note this is the app connecting to the live game server

Any plans to make bog standard PC version look that pretty ?

 

Also will movement always be from the compass thingy? Or point and go on the map? Thinking Titans ;p

Aiming to also release it on Steam as a PC download - some of the interface will be tweaked for that but it will essentially work the same

 

As for movement, currently it's the D-pad style movement but it works really well!

You should use some decent mobile screen recording software. Mobizen is a decent free one, for android, I use for work presentations.

Currently we have the min set to Android 4.4 and iOS 8, but that may change on release.

I extremely want to get this app. I will definitely recruit my friends and family to this game. I just hope y'all developers make this 100% usuable without login in on a PC... Also, make it look appealing to attract young blood.

We'll be sending an email out as soon as v0.1 is ready to download (possibly later this week or early next)

We're focused on getting the functionality right in the app first, but then we will make it look as awesome as we can as well before release

The current build we uploaded has been approved by Apple for beta testing

 

We want to make a few more tweaks before releasing the beta for v0.1, but hopefully we'll have something ready to try out later this week or early next now
