8.5 seconds of stun? really?????  God! make it so assassins or anyone that specs into it win by no skill of their own because anyone is rendered USELESS FOR 8.5 SECONDS!

Its a silence tho. Basic attacks and fleeing still works :P
But yeah, 8.5s is way too long time :/

Olympian (Warrior Talent): +3s duration

Thats 4.5s silence, not sure where the other 4s comes from yet. Too lazy to read all talents xD

 

Edit:

Precision (Sin Talent): +2/4s duration

 

wow yeah all quite early in the trees too

Templar has a talent for it tho, gives radius to it.

Speccing into "olympian" in the warrior tree gives 3 seconds and damage caused is increased by 75%.  Then speccing into "precision" in assassin class gives you another 4 seconds.  The warrior can silence you for 8.5 seconds, the assassin can silence you for 8.5 seconds and with under 2 seconds of fading off, they can silence you for another 8.5 seconds IMMEDIATELY.  They can "soulfire" and have no cool downs.

my crossbow was "op" too.  they nerfed it.

 

guess i'm not "hardcore" enough.  

 

what do I have?  little leaves that fall from the sky and can snare you for six seconds but easily evaded if you move out of the way. it comes with a warning too because I stop and aim my bow into the air first.  woo hoo!

I think we need to accept the fact that it is going to take time for everything to be balanced a bit better, including PvP.

 

Hoof posted in the stop complaining thread and said after the hardware rendering is done they will start to work on other improvements and fixes.

 

Try not to let things frustrate you too much... although sometimes I do not listen to my own advice, I still have high hopes for Eldevin. It is a great game, think of it as a rough Diamond that needs polishing to make it shine.  :P

Not sure if the potion effectiveness reduction was intended at the time (as part of the whole slow-down combat through reduced damage/healing). We can look at fixin' it though.

About nerfing the jolt.

Give more CC [stuns,snares,knock backs,sleep,confuse,fear] to other classes instead of nerfing the right use of talent trees as you guys intended it to be [take anything from any tree] , no one used it until i saw it and started using it, would be a bit sad to see it go away. If you want to make it just "SMASH keys to max out dps" stuff.. which sucks for pvp aspect anyways, sure go ahead.

Want to make it a bit more skill based? Add more CC/ such abilities stated above.

 

 

Also would like to add , as the pvp is not really 1 VS 1.. cuz a group of 5 can pound at you [open world pvp], you shouldn't be focusing on making it balanced 1 vs 1, but 5 vs 5 or 10 vs 10 should be balanced. If that makes sense.

The thing is, if it's a fair fight, I'm all for it. Jolt me for 8.5 seconds after you smile at me--I'm dead and didn't stand a chance.  Come to TA with a healer who can heal you 100% while I'm stuck with reduced heals on pots?  These aren't fair fights.  I'm not afraid to take on two at once.  I've done it before, I'll do it again.  But come at me with jolt or bring a healer friend while I have reduced healing pots? WTF?  

 

It is frustrating.  I don't even know what hardware rendering is.  It better be more amazing than Christmas in July.

Your not a tank, you can't take 2 on 1. Obv if other person are just stupid...you can win.

That's the thing the so called "skill" in pvp, is knowing when to fight and when to run.

If someone used the talent tree to get the max benefit out a talent, it's not there fault.

Pots shouldnt even be there in pvp imo. But if they are , they are reduced for everyone and not just you. About healers.... they can heal. as simple as that.

 

And if this gets nerfed because "it wasn't intended that way" i'd be really disappointed
