Hi ZoloKing,
Thank you for your continued feedback on the app.
Happy to see that our suggestions/observations make a difference
1. AM (animal magmatism) seems to not work on the app. Got a lvl 288 on and not a single creatures respawned at the same location he was slain. Eg 6 creatures on the tile, killed all 6 , none respawned there again. Did a kill 675 DQ, and it didn't happen once.
2. Footprints, can you make the color a bit brighter or add an option to switch to the orange dots like on pc ? It's hard to see the current ones on darker maps , like the blue in Varas dungeon for ex.
Finding a better way to make animal magnetism work on the app is something that is on our cards and we hope to have a solution for a future update. For the moment, dragging down the action list will refresh the actions.
As for footprints, We can look into making a new asset for the footprints that are easier to see. I have just added that to the list and we will hopefully have it in an update some time soon.
Are log filters a thing in the app, or are they planned for a future update ? Cause after the group update the log is filled w/ group atck notifications and the filters are a must to see pm (chat).
The logs are currently undergoing a redesign on the app, it may take some time to get the design finalised and then implemented, but we have something in the works that should solve any issues you have with this area.
Thank you again for your feedback, keep it coming!

If you want to keep the old look you can play on the phones browser
I honestly would if it was adapted better for it

I played with a phone browser for a few years pre-app. Shadow30 still does. It can be done and you can thrive. It is a bit frustrating at times, but it can be done..... It just takes some practice is all...
However, I understand your point. The map doesn't slide around for easy viewing on a mobile browser, and the slider to zoom in and out don't work, so to it's like playing on the old map... In fact for some things, such as making or using a group, you almost have to use the old map....
It's hard to hit the refresh circle, or Teleport circles, and it takes a bit of finesse to hit the right place to tap and hold in order to move the action list to see your coordinates, but if done in landscape mode, and with a bit of zooming in and out, all these things can be done..... I found a stylus to be quite necessary to do this most efficiently.
Before the app was changed to portrait mode (which apparently everybody but me wanted) it was more similar to the web version of FS. A few things were changed that I wish were put back, primarily a refresh button next to the little sword, and things like that.

You are right.... you can make a group there (you can't on the "new" map on a mobile browser) but you have to return to the regular map to use it....
Maybe these type of things should be adapted to better serve mobile users in a browser, as many still can't or won't use apps on their phones....
I know, this has little to do with the app itself, but there are still people that use Windows phones, or have little or no space to install any kind of app on their phones (I didn't when I had one of those free government issue phones, for example).
And there are still things that must be done in a browser as well, regardless of one's preferences or operating system....
Since the app is designed for better gameplay for mobile users, shouldn't these things also be something to be considered?

All those mobile browser improvements SHOULD have been implemented a long time ago, considering even a person without any game coding experience could do it. It would save a lot of hassle for the cows to just work on that, make the app link to that website page and stick on a few additional addon buttons for easier navigation like zoom and like a tab addon that navigates through buttons on the screen and they'd have a game app in a shell without all the unneeded effort of completely rebuilding the game on another platform.

A few observations:
1. I can see what my rank means within my guild. This I haven't been able to discover on the browser version (though Advisor is incorrectly spelled as Avisor at all places). Where do I see this on the browser full site?
2. I could not find the option to store anything in the guild vault.
3. I tried to bid again on an item on which someone had outbid me. I kept pressing the bid button but it didn't do anything.
4. Realms which require vision: browser version hides the realm more effectively. The mobile app does not.

Also, logs don't display character names properly. So there is the guild log with x number of players taking and storing stuff, but the names are all missing.

1. I see Advisor spelled correctly both in browser and on app
2. I just now figured out how to store items in the GS. You send them directly from your BP
3. I'm waiting for Duckie to run one of his famous experiments on this.
4. I've noticed that dark realms are not dark on the app at all, which is a handicap because you don't need vision to travel when using the app, but you still need it to counteract the stat decrease that the dark causes. If you can't tell you're in the dark, you're gonna end up missing something and dying.

That's mainly on the page where the ranks are defined. I see 'avisor' instead of advisor, and 'coflict' instead of conflict

Hi Edith3000,
Thank you for getting in touch with these issues. Your feedback is really appreciated and helps in the development of the app!
I don't believe you can see rank information on browser if your rank does not allow for "Add/Edit Ranks". If you have this permission you can see this information by editing the rank. As for the spelling of Advisor and Conflict on the app, thank you for pointing this out, it has since been fixed and will be correct in the next update.
Penny is correct, you can store items in the guild storage directly from your backpack.
I have added the auction house bidding issue to Kamicazer's list to look into, thank you for pointing this out. Will hopefully have a fix for the next update!
Not sure why Dark realms are not showing up on the App (they should, I implemented them myself...). Will look into why they are not showing and hopefully have a fix for the next update.
As for Guild logs, I believe this is already fixed (or at least on the cards to fix). Was reported by ZoloKing last week. Never the less, should have a fix for he next update.
Thanks again for the feedback here and pointing out these issues! The next update should have fixes and be all the better as a result of you reporting them! Thanks Edith!

Is there a way to use a Quick buff template on other players too?
#36
Posted 24 November 2020 - 21:58
You can cast saved quick buffs, but it's a bit complicated and takes several steps to get to the quick buff options page. This could be better streamlined.
I do like that I can add or subtract buffs from a quick setup on the app, whereas on the browser I have to delete a package and start over to modify one.

Welcome Conix.
For the ranks in the browser version, I think there should be a mechanism to see what permissions/allowances the rank has. Edit/add rank is best left to the higher-ups of the respective guilds. If more than the usual players are given that access, it will likely cause chaos. Plus, best to have this feature at both places and not just the app. Would you prefer I copy this as a suggestion for the browser discussions as well?

Can't load Tavern Rumours on the app (error failed to load) and since 14:37 yesterday the homepage tavern rumours have stopped updating too on web browser.

The app appears to be down. I hope this means a new build will be coming soon. Might I suggest that an announcement be made prior to these updates so that those of us that use the app regularly don't freak out and assume the app is just broken?
