How about (from 820): Ormarr Set, War Wolf set, Greater Quango Set 1, Zaragoth set?
Although the War Wolf set has no damage, it provide extra attack/Armor and also is a set.

It will probably give more damage if you'd go with a high damage amulet and a high damage armor then. You will get more damage from those 2 items than the amount of damage you lose from going from 4 sets to 3. :wink:

Okay, the new Zaragoth set is nice. A few different non-crystalline combos with it I've come up with are:

Grotesque set, Kifos set, Spell Scarred, Zaragoth.
Giant Robbing, Grotesque, Greater Quango, Zaragoth

You could always switch the Grotesque for the W. Raven set for more attack if you prefer.

The Zaragoth boots are great to use also in many setups as well by themselves. Just replace the King Z. Boots (L710) with them and, you up your damage by a ton.

In game messages for suggestions:

regarding your hunting setup list...: 845+ setup Zaragoth+Grotesque+Kifo with Quango Ring and Dawn cuirass beats all your setups up to 950 as far as damage is concerned... (yeah, i know it\'s 3 sets, but in several ranges you can actually get higher damage this way)... tested it wih KE-CoA-SH only... attack stat is sufficient too for ~99% mobs between 845- 949 with KE175+DC225 only... given that players use also EF and several enchant buffs, the attack is actually enough vs anything in the range mentioned... the damage difference compared to your 850 max-dam setup is quite significant, ~2k btw....

Please post them on forum so that I can find them back. Cause I got it verry busy with master thesis and school and don't have enough time to check in the week. And I am afraid some already have gone lost in game message lost =s

Just throwing this out there, not sure if it is helpful for anyone but it can't hurt. Didn't see it posted in here either....could be mistaken....

I haven't hunted with this yet and I haven't calculated my stats after buffing, but it appears similar to my regular setups. The attack is higher, damage a bit lower, but usually damage isn't a problem. The main difference is no crystalline gear, so if you need a breakable alternative at this level range, here you go:

1010
Fiery Santork - War Claws, War Mask
Sanguideres - Collected Blood, Carapace
Unahs - Amulet, Boots
Giant Killing Jacks - Jerkin, Axe
Greater Quango Ring

8446 Attack
250 Defence
13070 Damage
1730 Armor

Similar damage as the 915 setup and only 15 levels higher there is already a non crystalline setup with more damage.

Hi. I noticed some things wrong on hunting setup list in wiki, quite few sets have two different values, here is list of set that have at least two different values used:
Ballista set
Brides set
Dawn Chomper set
Jumbo's set
Kifos set
Lobber set
Shock Orc set

and individual pieces
Grotesque neck tie
Liano amulet

(And tentacle chomper set is writen in two different ways)

I have eddited all stats of these items on the hunting setup list and corrected the stats in sets list.

12397 damage according to the wiki sets list ... weaker then the others and it has two expensive sets in it, so to make the list not to long it is not added.

I updated wiki sets list from level 1551 to 1600.

Looks like Zaragoth Hide Sabatons should replace King Zelrokh's boots for the 850, 890, 915 setups. Has anyone done work with the Zaragoth set beyond this?

Also I have an addition:
At lvl 1100, the second setup would have better stats with the Ornildon Rune (lvl 1098, def 608, dam 1596) than with the current Byre Beast Ward (lvl 1000, att 609,  dam 1421)

Ok I have had to go through 250-290 and it was hellish as nojor set was rubbish will check others :mrgreen:

I've been looking ahead and I'm trying to build the perfect set up for when I hit level 500.

 

I was wondering if you guys could help me put something together? 

 

I have just over 1k fsp to spend (no Crystalline items please).
