Hi all,

 

 

The Double XP event has now started and will be live for the next 144 hours!

 

During the event, all creatures will give DOUBLE their normal xp. Enjoy!

 

Additionally, the following content is now active.

 

- 52 New Realms.

 

- 50 New Creatures.

- 4 New 'Champion' Creatures.

- 2 New 'Elite' Creature. 

 

- 2 New 'Common' Item.

- 4 New 'Rare' Items.

- 4 New 'Unique' Items.

- 4 New Item Sets.

 

- 3 New Portals.

 

- 2 New Relics.

 

It is rumored that a new portal to the Nalonic Plains (Scrap) has been discovered in the Gildarath Pits (Ambush).

Maybe it's too late, and therefore useless, but some info from me:

 

Entrance to level 5302 (Ketoric Mines (Tunnels)) need you to be level 5303.

I won't take part in the mid-year event, but I might in December event. I wonder what people's opinions are of it.

No one is forced to participate.  Just because you choose not to doesn't mean it should be removed.  Self-centered much?

Late response. Hardly check the forums these days.

People will just tell me to not participate, so I inserted the part where I didn't.

 

Since the double XP is such a unique event that may make you speed through all of the game's maps, I'm actually interested in what people would think if there was only one every year. I do have good reasons for bringing this up, but before I do share, I'd like to hear what others have to say so that maybe I could change my mind. It's okay if you don't want participate in the answering; then don't.

Double xp event is good, Could notice more players online and more activity throughout the game.

 

Reasons why it should stay 2 times a year

-Gives boost for low-level players that are far from EOC.

-Active Market as some players sell stuff to spend dots also changes in gold value and some items.

-I can notice more interactions between players to plan perfectly for this event.

-More contests inside guilds.

-More people buying fsps from offers and more spending while flash sales included.

 

 What is your reason to remove it?

 No one likes slow pace leveling in such a huge level-range game...

I consider Dxp as one of the many globals. I don't have a justification of why it should stay for two editions in a year, but I certainly feel there is no need to remove it. I personally enjoy it,

 

However, as with other globals, it is not possible to altogether skip Dxp (you cannot switch it off). So those who don't want to breeze through several levels in one go, the only option is not to hunt for those four days.
