A soundscape is, according to Dictionary.com, "the component sounds of an enviroment". Personally, I derive a significant amount of my immersion into a game based on the soundscape present. That being said I humbly request that HCS provide a few teasers or information relating to any sound effects, ambient sounds, or music that will be implemented into the world of Eldevin.

I look forward to any and all progress you can share. :)

Needs Doppler effect near trees with the sounds of birds and other woodland creatures P:

 

Or just an overall ambient noise of the animals making noises lol

Maybe you'll just here a bunch of cows mooing in the background...

 

Just thought of an idea...  Wouldn't it be cool if finding the source of a noise was part of a quest???

Just thought of an idea...  Wouldn't it be cool if finding the source of a noise was part of a quest???

That would be a fun twist to questing! B)

You could have to try to find the source of a sound. For example finding someone who is screaming for help.

You could have to decipher where to go next based on a description or recording of a sound. For example the next quest location is somewhere in the desert and the only hint you get is the sounds of vultures or hyenas.
