Hello everyone!
 
The past couple of months have been very busy for us at HCS, but we are glad we were able to deliver the new Fallen Sword App to you all before Christmas. This, however, did come at the cost of some of our goals from the last roadmap to be pushed back, most notably the Daily Quest Reroll.
 
While this roadmap has the Daily Quest Reroll planned for March, we're going to aim to bring it forward into February :) With that being said, here is the roadmap for March - June 2022!

Roadmaps serve as a guideline and are subject to change. Some things are secret, and if we feel we can squeeze something in we'll certainly try.

Any chance at added an arena update to the roadmap? I know it was discussed in other forum threads to do an update.

Also, PvP update? Or PvP Global?

I was hoping for new, wild things on here, not the regularly scheduled content :(

How about a gvg update, it seems rp items arent as common anymore and not worth doing

First of all, I want to start by thanking HCS for the Roadmap. It's always nice to see the transparency and goals laid out in plain sight. There are a couple of things on here that have potential to be met well (Guild Achievement expansion and New Skills if balanced correctly).

I think i speak for a lot of people when i say it's always slightly disappointing to not see any big ticket items. Just about every aspect is outdated. We are far beyond the point of simply adding a few new items to it. Overhauls are in order to bring life.

I will give credit where credit is due, the app has been a massive priority and taking a ton of time to ship to market. I imagine it still requires constant work fine tuning and all. All of this alongside unprecedented times.
 

However the active players of this game are yearning for the above items to be given some time when it is available. 

The above problems play a direct part in player retention.

i would hope the 'new titan items' includes a few new recipes for the hunted cow titan, it is one titan keeping people checking in for throughout the day and adds value to the realm chests, low enough level that anyone can get in its range and kinda is a bit of a flagship titan bearing the hunted cow name on it.

Also, any chance we could get more coders devoted to the game? It seems to me that we don't have enough coders or they are time committed on X thing. Are you actively trying to hire more coders for this game?

The titan clears every 15-20 minutes it spawns. Not much chance for most guilds. They should remove the personal secure from hunted cow titan to give more chances to people. Actually in general, they should consider removing personal secures as well. Overall, the effect of having personal secures means a lot more epics come into the game and reduce its value quicker. 

 

Doesn't the community normally say that epics have become worthless in value (over a short period of time) and we wish they would retain value longer? It made no sense to add personal secures into the game except to pad people titan medal and extra profits for people in large guilds.

 

The damage has been done for the current epics, but I hope they seriously think about it before releasing more titans.

 

I think they could come up with a new mid level titan (higher than the cow titan) that would be a resource (not savable with inventor 2) OR extremely low chance of success (savable with inventor 2) to make other epics. 

 

Extremely well put EpicPiety ... about problems facing the game in the above message. I agree with most points.

The problem with titan epics is actually not the rate they come into the game. Believe it or not, they come in rather slow (Numbers available on UFSG). The main issue is there is not that many players joining the game, so there is no demand for the low-high mid titan epics. If there is practically no demand it doesn't really matter what you do with the supply.

If you try to artificiate the supply by restricting gameplay it's just dancing around the key problem. Cutting back peoples ability to experience the game I dont think is a very good trade off to try to prop up the price.

 

If you want to go this avenue, opposed to outright stopping people from being able to participate in titan hunting (More Cooldown), you need to bring TH back to it's roots. Titan hunting was initially a group activity and i think it still ought to be. I suppose the most simple way would be to multiply the titans hp by 5x to counter titan doubler which started this whole mess or remove the buff...Titans can die in a matter of under 10 minutes now. It takes some people over that to even get ready. If you are 30 seconds late, you probably already lost so you just don't even try. When you increase the window of which a titan is alive when it's being actively hunted means there is more opportunity for guilds to group up and try to counter.  This creates a more active feel to the game. Throw in some tiered recipes for some of the older titan items and call it a day and pray we get some increased player retention.

 

This is something i really wish that could be applied over all areas of the game specifically arena. Do not restrict peoples ability to experience and play the game. Simply make the system smart enough to allow the players to play it as much as they want without creating supply issues.

Plus, removing the personal secures would just create the incentive for players to create solo guilds just before the Titan Seasons, so they can solo secure the Titans.

That's what was happening in the past, and why the solo secure thing was added to start with.

The only real way I see to increase demand of Epics is by creating new Recipes using them, preferable for potions... Something like:

AL650
CSV650
LIB650
AM500

Using 1x Skaldir Boots and 1x Deepwater Choker, (maybe things from Arena/Ladder/Etc included as well) for example... Something better than GE chests, but worse than donation ones...Or to create good Crystalline gear, like the Ladder stam gain ones.

Something that would keep a steady flow of Epics being used.

Not being that interested in Titan Hunting as a whole, I can see both sides of this issue....

I always wondered why the personal cooldown wasn't restricted to quest related and/or seasonal titans though....  I'm no expert on these things, and I could be way off the track here, but my meager logic functions lead me to believe that doing that could be a potential solution to the objections many are having here....
