Maybe a magical realm that has been created by the sp'hires (or how you write it) when they where put together), it took 10 years to find the realm, but the founder talked too high about it and in some weeks every kingdom knew about it
Objective:
The objective could be to get i.e. Crystal shards from a giant crystal in the middle and to kill other kingdoms soldiers and king and to destroy other kingdoms resources (You would have to craft the armor, food, potions etc. used in event?).
At start:
The players would be placed in one of the kingdoms. You would get a other name (this name change as you die), this is to make this more realistic and maybe hide peoples identity as D4VYJONES wrote (if i understood right). If you switch kingdoms you could have knowledge about how to get past the defenses etc. so I don't like the idea.
As you proceed:
If you make much weapons, gather much shards, kill many from other kingdoms you can rank up and get better privileges (i.e. buffs and the ability to spend crystal shards (there's always one that can choose that (he/she/all who have highest reputation))and more, throw some ideas!) and if you die you get down ranked. The shards could be used to upgrade things in the kingdom you have been placed in (further called "your kingdom").
I.e. At start you got 5 copper nodes, 3 coal nodes, 5 pynwood trees, 5 stickleback shores, 5 tier 1 crystal nodes (forgot the name), 2 lime trees, 2 void mushroom plants, 2 green apple trees, 5 farming plots etc. and you use 50 crystal shards to upgrade the mining field so you get a additional copper, coal and a bronze node.
Every crystal shard takes a single inventory slot and takes 10 seconds to acquire.
If you die you drop EVERYTHING (in a loot chest) and loose reputation (that usually cause you to down rank).
If any sort of building profession gets added, then you can build the castle bigger and better, till that you can only get that with crystal shards. The third component and other things you would have to buy from a shop you can buy from shopkeepers in your kingdoms castle for cash you can get from monsters lurking in the woods and mountains on the way to the crystal.
End:
If your kingdoms king (a npc level 50 (all attribute points in vitality) that can't fight (their names are the same as the champions and the prince (before you ask "why can't they fight?", they can't fight because you have to defend them and in lore: they have gone strange, corrupted and wicked (and lazy) as they started to think what they get if they win this (as they got the powerful crystal for themselves)))) dies. Your kingdom gets defeated. So if all other kings dies your kingdom wins.
Well I hope that's everything. Feel free to discuss. This was just a idea I made up when I read D4VYJONES's post.
