I actually thought you would be overjoyed that you have the ability to finally show that you are the big bad pvper you always claimed to be. now you can dominate all the level bands at once and show true dominance Dom. you should be overjoyed

When might we see an implementation of these new PVP rules and PvP Legacy? When will the medals be phased out for Legacy (Dominance and Smasher)?

 

Once testing is complete, we'll start the week long staging to determine the first seasons Titan League. Note its likely only the Dominance medal will be phased out and replaced with a new medal for the PvP Seasons (the others will likely be tweaked instead).

as ive said before wind...im not arguing for myself...ive spanked eoc(including yourself and many others) before and will again...but how many players my level can actually do that?

I saw this pointed out but not really addressed so I'll bring it up again. Gold hitters will het an automatic bounty for virtually every successful hit but someone just pounding on another player hourly with little gold loss remains unpunished? I don't see that as much of an improvement.

I fail to see the fun of 2500 spanking level 100 (or even level 1k in most cases) player.  That makes not sense at all.

We're made the stamina per attack consistent hence it's no longer selectable. The attacks will be equivalent to what would previously have been a 100 stam attack however. The Bounty Board will be a lot more like it used to be in the earlier days of the game, with the exception that the bounties will be placed by the game rather than players. Overall it should become a lot more active and interesting, but it's something we'll continue to look at and improve.

Not only that, but imagine how little effort the EOC players will have to put in in comparison to a lvl 100 or a 200 player. This is just so unbelievable...

 

I might aswell demand my acc to be terminated.

i have to agree with wind.. Here why were all on even grounds. However are level is only thing that affect advantage and disadvantage.... BUT Dom argues its unfair when you really look at it if you get matched against a 2500 you can pay and skip like anyone else im sure they will do the same if they need to. you like anyone else will attack people in epic gear level 2500 easy kill ... Lastly is it fair for people who level to be part of this no, were going to get mad then figure out how to cope with this and then FIGHT ON :P

As you probably remember, you could choose if you wanted to set 1 hit or 10 hit bounty. 1 hit bounties arent bounty hunting. Its just a race, who manages to accept/hit first. Have you really thought through this update?

Earlier in the game there was no limit to level loss on the board, then it was changed to 5 levels maximum.

Now HCS has proposed lowering it further to a SINGLE bounty kill which at the current xp loss rate would equal 20% of a level. That's one hell of a nerf mate, might as well remove xp loss all together imo.

i attack anyone...idc bout epics or buffs...i generally suicide hit for gold(at least gives defender a chance). yes i can skip them but then i cant get thst "rating".

as stated...what challenge is there for a 2500 in beating a lvl 1k or below?(for most players...not all low levels are chumps)

In light of the fact that the ladder is going out the window....

 

HCS: Something definitely needs to be reallocated with regard to the PvP Reward tokens from the ladder. 

 

Let me explain: 

 

As a side project, I'm currently doing the second Egami "FS-wide inventing event": https://forums.hunte...nventing-event/

 

Despite these changes and no matter what happens, I will still do it and my PvP tokens from the ladder are up for grabs. 

 

HOWEVER, I would humbly request that "something" be done about these recipes. You can see all of them in the first post on that thread under “PVP REWARDS” AND WHAT THEY CAN BE USED FOR". All of these recipes will become "obsolete" when the ladder is phased out, UNLESS a viable alternative is proposed. 

 

I don't pretend to say which ones are important. But I do believe it's something that needs to be addressed. I don't myself really care how that is dealt with. Just saying.

Just a quick question - if I am understanding it right you will be auto-bountied if the gold you steal is above a certain level that HCS knows, if I only hit people with 0 gold, will I never be auto-bountied?

What is going to happen to those?

 

1 hit to complete a bounty? Thanks for destroying the bb.

 

Dominance medal becomes extinct? Are you serious? I've spent more stam, time, fsps on that medal than anything else. Can I get a refund?

 

No more smasher medal? Or a nerfed medal? Thanks for making all the stam, time, and XP lossed worth nothing.

Im with Dom on this. I lvled for only one reason alone to lvl 175, it has the perfect set that fits my need for Thieving gold, enough bewildered targets + enough stuff to do without needing to get bigger and bigger.  Even the setups are really fun that there are at that lvl.

 

I wouldnt mind attacking lvl 300 or 500 players, damn even lvl 800 players can be cracked with a bit of luck and proper buffs on my part. Provided they are not buffed up ofc.  But a 1500 lvl fully geared player... that... that my friends is downright beyond balanced PvP, and if you guys at HCS truly want to balance PvP, then please listen to ACTUAL PvPers

As currently worded, a Deflected gold hit will give no chance for a bounty to be placed. That seems an okay change to me as no stam/xp is truly exchanged.

 

But, how will a Deflected attack on the League be determined? Will you continue to see the same player? If so, you go from having a random unknown assailant to knowing who is actively hunting you, unless they pay to skip. Will it count against you (not very fair)? Will it be not an option as a buff in the League? If it is not counted, what is to stop me, or anyone else, rolling through my league attacks until I find a player who is outside my normal range, has a high stam bank and close to full stamina to then wait for them to hunt to rob them? Sure, if I want PvP glory, I'll keep hitting, but I like to attack for gold and you will effectively remove the +/- 10 level range that protected many as you most have figured out who/when to hide gold from more than they regularly do. If you remove gold loss from League attacks, how will those players ever see the Bounty Board?
