I know cool down isnt going any ware. but I do wish there was a compromise, especially for the high level titans. after 1 day if it is still sitting there with nobody hitting it, I wish cool down would be voided!

 

knowing how many kills you/ your guild have over all would be useful.

Hmmm - can see your perspective.  

I know a few high level friends have made a little doing titan clean-up.  As I'm an impatient person, I've actually finished off some titans that I've hunted myself, so much lower level titans than you're talking about. Since so many players are sitting at or near EOC with stam max'd, seems not totally unreasonable to have those titans finished off by the hunters that did it.  But -- perhaps easy for me to say from my level, and I recognize that.

Cripler - so you've done a 180 degree turn from your page 1 comment, and great you like the idea now, but sorry really not a fan of all the bells and whistles you want with it.  Bells and whistles = lag.  

I disagree, I don't think it's good to track the progress of other guilds:  
That's takes some of the fun and excitement out of the hunt.  Then we go from the happy newlyweds running around screaming with glee "catch me, catch me" to the old married couple that mutters "maybe tomorrow, the game's on now".  A little mystery is always a good thing.

Color coding and being told when to stop when we hit 50%: 
I understand if the math is hard for some, but I really don't think we need to dumb down the game that much.

Cost of 25K an hour 24/7 - that means only a very few guilds could afford this and I'm politically a Centrist and a humanitarian, thus I'm not a fan of a few perks for a very select few.  It would put those few guilds at a TREMENDOUS advantage over other guilds.  If that were the case, all of my support for this idea is removed as I still believe the little guy should have a chance in this game and in life.

One problem with Scout Tower 4 - many guilds really don't need to track 10 titans, thus they don't need Scout Tower 3 and the cost at the current rate of building and more importantly maintaining a ST 4 based on current costs then makes the game tip dramatically in favor of a few select rich guilds and I don't think that is good for the longevity and life of the game.  Everyone has to have a chance to win or they pack their bags and go elsewhere.  

The idea was about encouraging more people to Titan Hunt by giving them a bit more information readily available that could prove motivational and good feedback, and that everyone's on an equal footing.

We all need to keep the players we have in the game and solicit more players and that isn't done in a have's and have's not scenario.  Still everyone has to work and Titan Hunting is concentration and work, so there's no handout regardless.

 

i never said that i didn't like the idea just said that it was a nice idea but not necessary yet and could wait :P

 

well like i said it's just to keep track of enemy guilds so all competition kills if you want to know it go to the scout tower and do the calculations yourself it's not like it isn't possible right now either i myself made a calculator in wich i type total TKP  of the titan and our guild TKP and TKP left and it does the math for me ... so yea ... there's no mystery anyhow ...

 

the color coding was to keep the percentages separated of the 3 categories : your guild, enemy guilds, and TKP remaining ...

 

the % is to reduce calculations and numbers since that could possibly fill it up too much thus percentages were used.

 

then get a new structure? low level guilds don't need a scout tower level 3 so they can keep it at 2 and then keep it at 3k gold or any other amount of gold per hour maybe scaling with guild members dunno come with another suggestion? :D

 

don't think that the bar would give that much lagg at all lol and it only updates when you press 0 or r and then you still have to wait 2 secs to hit it again wouldn't matter at all i think ...

 

if people want to earn fsp they can just go titan hunt no problem lol it just requires team effort and time... or just time if you go for the TKP way

don't know how to solicit more players and personally think that hcs should work on that they can easily attact people now with eldevin but this isn't the place to discuss that. and people only want easy FSP ...  can't help that ...

1) This information is already available if you pay for it (scout tower level 2), so I don't think it should cost extra on top of this.

2) Adding the info to world map should not be that difficult to code as the info is already tracked.

3) I like the idea someone had (sorry not re-reading to give credit) of having it only update sometimes.... but maybe when you kill the titan?

 

Anyway, I haven't been on much lately but did do some titan hunting over xmas event. As I was going for solo second and third place hunts in cleanup time would have loved to have a counter to help me understand where I was on the getting 25% or whatever I needed to guarantee a slot without all the back and forth.

 

In fact, I would love to see this as an individual option where it only tracks your own kills and have it cost something in the upgrades to buy it, so if you're not in a guild or in a small guild that can't foot the higher structure bill you can at least get your personal count only from this.

Not going off-topic, but will be great if the cooldown (on hit) goes from 2secs to 1sec, will be faster to secure a titan. Not sure, but I like the idea. And keep the 7 days cooldown.

About the kill counter:
Great idea!

Showing the guild kills and personal kills, just like Scout Tower shows.

no 2 sec on hit cooldown is fine. going to 1 sec will just decrease the competition. It is not meant to be secured fast.
