They had finally done it. The four of them sat together in the tavern looking at the prey huddled together. JimmyMac stroked his lover NakedDoor's hair while Cynyth and WolfJack talked. By that evening another human would be hanged, and then that night the celebratory feast would commence.
"I can't believe we both went for the same one last night. I get grumpy when I'm hungry, so don't mind if I grouse for a while." Cynyth said. "You know the funny thing, I don't even like mint."

Kareena sat with Falconer playing cards in a dim room far from the others. Though they both would surely die, at least the vampires would be suprised at what would happen this next day. Kareena had been tricked, and trusted several she shouldn't have- although she was glad she hadn't divulged all. For now though, all she could do was wait.
