If you are in a gvg and hitting a person and decide you want to pvp that target you have to wait 1 hr from last gvg hit ?

it seems like GVG and PvP should be completely independent of each other

gvg hits should be 2 mins and pvp 1hr between hits

but since each type of hits are totally different in nature why does a gvg hit dictate that i cant pvp for an hr ?

i have not tested that its listed separately  i would assume XP/gold hits are separate from GVG hits

This game is complex - which is to suggest that our Devs didn't / couldn't think of it all.

That said I agree bb hits are separated from GvG - as should PvP hits.

Many areas of the game - have been greatly improved many would like to see PvP improved.

- Vote make PvP & Fallen Sword Great again !!!

maybe im not explaining this as well as i should - here is the example

my guild and your guild have a gvg going -i am hitting you in the gvg

well all of a sudden you have a lot of gold on you - i switch from a gvg attack to a pvp attack - when i go to attack -it says i cant hit you for 58 mins

the game mechanics regard any type of attack as a attack period

so because i did a gvg attack i cant pvp you for a hr

what im getting at is there is 2 seperate attack bars thus implying different attacks types - yet they are interconnected with each other

They are not really connected with each other, there is just an attack bar on a players page to make it easier for them to be attacked.  You know that EASY way of doing things, right?

GvG hits are every 2 minutes.

PvP hits are every hour and then there something about three days somewhere in there.

If you are involved in  GvG finish it first, then PvP. There's all kinds of little niceties to observe when trying to slap people.

what im saying is im restricted by the 1 hr rule from pvp attacking if i do a gvg hit and not 2 mins

since gvg and pvp are 'not' connected why should a gvg hit prevent me from doing a pvp hit ?

As long as you are involved in a GvG you are bound within that GvG.  If you leave a guild while in an active GvG you are still bound by that time frame and can not join another guild until the time is up on the GvG.

Before embarking on another aspect of the game you need to finish up the current one.

It's one of the little niceties in  how it was set up when dealing with attacking a member of the player base.

You can partake of any other part of the game that does not involve hitting another player.

You can always try to change Hoofs mind for him though.

ok lets say i finish the gvg - i still cant hit the other player for 1 hour from last gvg hit - the mechanics of the game regard a 'gvg' hit as a regular pvp hit

now im pretty sure i can pvp a player then probably do a gvg hit 2 mins later

all im getting at is each type of attack should be bound by its own rules

I wonder if you could hit a player after the GvG has finished processing?  I'll never know but you can check it out sometime.  You'll probably still get the.. no, no.

It might take another bit of coding to the time constraints to allow hits that close together. I don't think they go for that.
