Does the Spiked Armor talent simply reflect a percentage of damage taken back on your attacker or does it a also block that percentage of damage from getting through to you as well?

Im pretty sure it just reflect the damage, you still take the damage dealt by the creature.

After having played around a bit with Spiked Armor my opinion is that it's pretty lackluster. That is due in part to it being in the Templar talent tree. Since only a percentage of the damage that actually gets through to you is reflected back a Templar build is really looking at very minimal returns for the talent points invested. Even without Defensive Stance active. The very short duration doesn't help either.

I can see how maybe it's a talent meant to only see real use against instanced dungeon bosses but if you're taking enough damage in that scenario to get some decent return out of Spiked Armor then the situation has probably gone to hell anyway. It might make more sense for a Warrior to take, the lower defenses maybe making it worth the cost. But probably only if the talent was divorced from Taunt usage.

If anyone else has experience with Spiked Armor I'd really like to hear your opinions.
