25% Guild Rule In Arena

I'm 100% in for a code that shows if there is already 25% of guildmates on the tournament, before you put the setup up and try to join it.

I'm 100% against changing the 25% rule.

Don't matter if you can or can't make profit there, none guild should be able to monopolize the Arena, is too easy to abuse, and one time when we have new items add there, will be a lot more profit for the guild which hold so much tokens.

Shouldn't be a thread to talk about it, the thread should be to bring back the old Arena back:

Bring back the old Arena with prizes, not tokens.
Give Arena Tokens for players who reach 2nd (or 3rd and 4th, according with the size of the tournament)
Remove all the Arena Token shop, and keep only the 1 Arena Token > 4.000 Gold option.

 

this was how the tokens idea was supposed to be implemented !!  and then someone decided to make the entire arena tokens, still unsure how someone could take a great idea and turn it into what we have now....killed arena..and killed the fun that in arena...winning a great prize for small gold fee would have me jumping up and down...now winning tokens does nothing for me...bring back the gold and prize tourneys...and as just stated tokens for consolation prizes to exchange for either gold or different cheap goodies...and arena would be in a lot better place...and then , yes the 25% would need to stay...

As a person who is just restarting trying out arena, I would like Arenas to be filled and start as soon as possible however, removing the 25% limit is not the way to do it. If my opinion if we remove it the arenas and its rewards would be monopolized. 

got any better solutions to get arena started quicker than 1-3 days as it is now..and any ideas as to how to make it so that us lower level players have something to join ( more than 1-3 a day)..let see some suggestions...i have made many ( check out thread way back- simple solution to arena level spawning)..but the cows always have ignored it...now arena is dead for most of us..lets hear some suggestions as to how to get more players playing arena..

@dulcharn your missing the point entirely arena shouldn't be split 12+ ways...#1 thats just too confusing...#2 i shouldn't have to FIGHT MY GUILDMATES to enter arenas afterall were a team. No one should have too. Thats why i choose to step back from joining.

Exactly they are just blatently saying no without a solution to compensate... If arenas started faster 25% rule wouldn't be such a hidderence... Maybe arenas should autostart after so long...If they are trying to autostart on an odd number it will just start on the next entry. Give us something don't just say no and leave the arena in such a sorry state... If you just simply say no without coming up with an alternative idea i weigh your opinon nothing. I'm sure the people for it are willing to compromise its not all or nothing...

Changing it to 50% would be the ideal situation imo.

.... sorry? This is absolutely ridiculous considering it takes over 24 hours for most arenas to be filled. Especially arenas < level 400. If these 'players from all guilds' were that bothered about the arena then they would make sure these arenas didn't take days to rotate. There's nothing left to monopolize lol. Tokens are next to worthless, considering the total joining cost of all arena entrants is approximately the value of the prize of the arena. Most of the arguments I've seen against changing the 25% rule to 50% are bull!

The 25% back then would be the equivelent of 50%+ rule today there aren't as many guilds :).

Cant you guys do a tracking system on the arena like you do on the temple. People will say they are losing money but when you have 5000 fsp and a billion in gold does it really matter if you r losing gold.

triple the fees? lol did you even think about the consequences? i guess not. so you want to make the arena a place for the rich guys only and reduces the amount of players even more so that the tourneys can fill up even slower? i don't think thats the right way to go especially since there already no profit to be made. It would only discourage people even more to participate. and i havent seen any multies yet, if lvl 1 accounts are what you call multies.

Are you insane?  The arena is slow as molasses.... what multis?  They must be playing by themselves... and waiting forever to compete with each other (themselves?)   IDK about the rest of us, but I'm not paying even more for a tourney that won't even start till next Wednesday... IDK how many times I have had to wrack my brain, trying to remember "when did I enter that?"  because so much time had already passed....

Yo, here's my two cents:

 

1.) what if arena was divided into 2 level sections: 1-1,000 and 1,000+ that way more arena's would spawn for the lower levels and their would still be higher levels for those that want the higher levels one.

 

and 

 

2.) What if, when (who know's when they will...) they introduce new items they would reset everyone's arena tokens so no one could monopolize the items right away?

Keep the 25% rule

 

Bring the arena back around to the days of it's origin, when it was easily at it's best

 

Make new inventable sets from arena items

 

Make tokens a consolation prize for 2nd place, and bring back the items, albeit new stuff instead of the same old, tired stuff we've had for years. You'll still be able to buy those for tokens, after all. If you (not too) slowly introduced new items as prizes along with gold prizes again, you'd see these tourneys moving. Oh, and don't make the new stuff available to buy with tokens for at least a few months.

 

Remember when an Icon of Styx tourney filled in 60 seconds? I do. I also remember, no matter what I was doing at the time, checking the arena page at :00, :15, :30, and :45 all day long so I wouldn't miss out. Let's get back to that.
