Some help is better than no help but to be honest, I can't afford to instant finish enough pots to really see a noticeable difference in my composing level.
Cost to IF first round of 5 pots 155,000 gold. Second round is 4.96 million gold. I can't imagine what the third round would be.

Hi there.

The cost to instant finish will not be changing I'm afraid. Getting double the composing XP is more than enough for the event.

Thank you HCS! This is awesome.

We shouldn't be complaining when we have double xp event, double composing xp event and all sorts of other stuff. I personally agree I cannot afford the instant finish price. But that is ok. I have plenty of time left.

Thank you!

Perhaps you would consider a future event that has standard XP gain but removes the instant finish multiplier for 24 hours.  I would dump all the gold I have into that event (willing to bet many more would too) and therefore receive much more benefit.

No, I'm afraid not. That would wipe out Composing as something to be worked on over time.

Thanks for this :) although I wish it would last a bit longer than one day, you get 2 days of work done in 1day. Composing is time consuming so 2 days of work is still very little if you look at the big picture. But still, one day 2XP still better than no day :)

Thank you

Let the frag sink begin! Hehe.

Thanks HCS; I'll be making 40 XP and 70 XP pots for the next 24 hours to take advantage (o0

The timing on this could not possibly be worse for me. I have 4 common fragments to my name at the moment. AFTER this weekend's double xp event would have been MUCH better. Ah well.

I also feel like 24 hours is a huge tease. 48 would be ok though.

Ah, but I feel that at 24 hours, we'd be more likely to release this kind of event a touch more frequently than twice a year. :)

This is an excellent gold sink if players are willing to dump gold to instant finish pots.

Since, I fielded a question already in game, figured it might be handy to just post it here:

So-and-so says: Hey ! Do you mind letting me know how to create 70 xp and 40 xp pots :P Im at level 16 Composing now .. Thanks :)

To So-and-so:: http://wiki.fallensw...x.php/ComposingLook at the part that says Leveling using least amount of common/rare frags. Each part gives you the number of skills you need, how many points to put in and the duration it needs to be. At level 16, I wouldn't suggest making the 40 XP. It depends on you, but the reason I'm doing the 40 is because at my level (34) I can make them in an hour. There is a calc there so you can see how long it takes. The higher level you are the less time it takes. If you're on a lot, I'd personally suggest making the highest XP you can in an hour. But you'll have to figure that out depending on your online time.

No, I'm afraid not. That would wipe out Composing as something to be worked on over time.

That logic assumes this type of special event being proffered would last indefinitely. The proposal was asking for it to last 24 hrs only.

Thx for the event, but is not easy to enjoy it with such high price to instant finish potions.

Maybe making the instant finish price reseting at 12hrs instead of 24hrs would help it a little bit? (only during the day of the event, of course)
