My  thoughts on this is that all the information is general statistics and out there all ready supplied static in player bio. The opt button could be put on list, but the question I have would be how accurate would the list be.  I should even mention this to all lists we have now with those not active is another issue too. 

 

Back on topic stating that I appreciate all the responses for or against keep on posting important to get fs community view. 

 

I hope to state that I still like the idea from previous page top seniority list based on dates not xp level is a cool idea.

This is actually kind of interesting, a little bit of fun, and should be relatively fast to copy/paste a report, change the SQL and done!

There are numerous other things for Top Player lists that could be done/changed before we add a totally new one. The Argument for "Active GXP" has already been suggested as has Titan Kills.

 

A few other things like those and possibly even a listing where people can look at the top players for every month, and not just our own. That'd be a cool update I think that might be a bit more useful to players. Looking at where everyone is at for each month of join date could help guilds in a number of ways, including seeing a friend closing in on top 10 and encouraging them on, guild recruitment, and other factors.

 

Possibly most days logged in could be another one too, as well as chests opened. I think top lists like those might be better. I'm not saying "oh this is an awful idea, rarr rarr rabble rabble rabble" But I do think that there a number of ones that'd be a lot more helpful/useful to players that haven't been implemented yet.

Boatsnhos is probably number 1 - 519k currently. HOFFA is probably number 2 - 404k.

 

 

Honestly, the top 10 or 20 people will be in the Top 20 guilds for sure. just make some tabs and have at it. compile a player list and update regularly. I look forward to your report.

 

Opt out shouldn't exist for top players list. Its debatable whether opt out should exist at all in the game, in terms of PvP ladders.

Just to clearify my first argument:

None of the the Top Rated lists measure cash, only commitment to determined task...That would be the first one to say "I can be level 1 but spend thousands of real money to get 1st place", and for me that's not good to the game...Shows nothing, just the position the person is into the capitalist world.

I can't donate to the game, each dollar costs me 4,30 R$, and the minnimun salary on Brazil is 715 R$/month, $60 donation would cost me R$ 258,00, that's more than 1/3 of a month income...Not realistic...But for people living on a 1st world country would be easier to donate...Does the game really want to encourage the discrepancy between the capital of each country? I really don't think that's a good idea.

I also agree that it should not be posted even when I had only 50k I have been sent messages to please hunt. Some times I like to wait till the last minute  I still have  not done the global but I will and I will get in the top 100

Join date, like stamina is information anyone can see.. I actually like the idea of the oldest active players..

Top rated lists like stamina and other lists for titan killsare good for competition.. They encourage those who care about top rated to upgrade or achieve more..

Top rated Stamina doesn't necessarily show who spent more on game, just shows who's more dedicated to the game.. Max stamina is upgraded with in game currency, not real world cash..

I like this idea and other ideas on more top rated in the game.. I doubt its hard to implement, only if the info is easily accessible to the cows...

 I wanted to quote this from the first page and clarify the truth of what is being asked.  

 

Stating for the record to the best of my knowledge of this game stamina on your bio does not show purchases with real money and it does not show how fsp meaning fallen-sword points are earned.  Stamina holding information is listed on your character profile page.  All that is being asked is to make a list from that information. 

 

The players adding other aspects and twisting what is being asked should really get facts straight please.  

 

I will state I do not have a very large stamina bank myself but if I did, I would like to see who is above me and who is coming or who might be my competition. I asked isn't this what lists are for? To see how successful a player is or see who is coming up meaning competition. All games that I have played use the static bio profile to make lists for awards for competition and in general just fun things.

 

I will add that is why I thought this would be fun addition to lists. We want fun for all and for those new coming to the game showing game activity is always a bonus to fs community.

The poll result is interesting time to close this and move on.  The list idea is up to staff devolopers of HCS to make lists, but I do hope they will make more lists to show top players doing their thing and keep in mind all information is on bios is available for all to use.  

 

Thank you fs community for expressing pros and cons and keeping this thread on topic. 

 

I hope the HCS staff will take time to post their thoughts or opinions and close this thread would be cool with many thank you's for letting a player post a poll and letting fs community to respond their opinions about the topic. Bigchaos

Even though this ended up directly split down the middle, some interesting ideas did come up.

 

Though I do like player discussion, maybe it would handier for us to make a post with a list of suggestions for additions to the top lists. That thread could serve as one-topic suggestion list for HCS to peruse. 

 

What they agree to then either could be 1) implemented or 2) submitted to a single HCS-sponsored suggestion thread with a poll to vote on each one for player input. Something tells me that if it was posted by Hoof or BG, it would get wider FS Community attention and thus be a better gauge of player sentiment.

I agree a hundred percent with your comment. @ Egami your comment in having HCS set up a thread on the topic and take a poll votes with community suggestions.  Yes, no and if maybe is in it does not mean the maybe sways a yes or no outcome preference. Just means pause and reevaluate if maybe wins the vote.

I spend a lot of time surfing the game on the forum, both places are full of information on most everything from buffs for sale or not, to gear set up lists.

 

I personally enjoy hunting and looking while I read and broaden my information base.

 

If the lists go up I would not have to look nearly as hard.

 

I guess it's ok, but that too is not something I need, but have fun if you would like or need.
