I'm having a problem with this one too, it is in my q-book twice, the purple dot is stuck on junction inn, i need the macabre now.

Is your open quest "Public Enemy" or "Plan of Attack" right now ?
Use the first tab in your questbook and open the "Valiant of the Kingdom/A Crimson Threat" folder.
