No, that is not true.  You can still submit your entry to Roan now on his GGT8 post till tonight I think.  You did not need your name to be on the list. You can submit it now.  Good Luck!

Not just tonight, the entry due is on Nov the 9th so you have about 2 days to submit your entry, I think you can do it
