World Boss - A change is Needed.

We just killed Blood Defilier and I have some suggestions for what I think would make it a more fun and engaging fight.Currently you just stand there, it basically has no mechanics
I think you've missed a trick and should do something like Diablo 3 does with Butcher (http://www.youtube.c...w9mHfLjv0#t=173) Here the floor lights up and then burst into flames for big damage, so gives people something to avoid
you would make it so everyone has to be inside the grill..or redesign the map so it's one giant grill,for those that havn't seen Blood Defilier he is on a textured floor very much like that one in the video.
 
The adds don't do anything, you could have it so when they reach 10% health they glow bright red (make this very obvious) and then after x amount of second explode for a lot of damage. This again would be a fun mechanic
Apart from that you would then have to either lower his health OR increase the enrage timer
 
Currently non of the world boss loot is good enough and needs a buff.We've killed different world bosses a various number of times and only once have heroic items dropped, the rest of the time it was one blue and 1 gem.
I feel you could even completely remove Heroic items from there loot table and make it so World bosses drop Belts, Amulets and rings
This means you then run TR for the set gear, world bosses for the "Off" pieces and still keep crafting relevant as weapon smithing would provide the BiS weapons.
Currently the dragon is a boring 15-20 min fight with very little reward.It is a target dummy with minimal loot.
 
However.If we look at it as a treadmill the dragon is perfect for an "entry into world bosses" So should be kept as he is (perhaps decrease the health a little) Slightly buff the loot.
 
Have Blood Defilier and Kongar your next tier of World boss as they would provide the "move from the rock, charge random target(Kongar)" and Move out of the fire, kill adds(Blood Defilier) element between them.
Have Amun as your "end tier" world boss
he currently has been the most fun boss fight and is really well designed
we've got him to 50% before his enrage on our third attempt but i'm more then happy with min/maxing, using potions and food and slightly better gear for the dps he is do able,
his mechanics are very fun and engaging
With those changes world bosses become an even more fantastic edition to end game content and something people would strive to kill. Also consider making the CD one they are kill longer then current.Perhaps 12-24 hours. Maybe not that long but you get the idea.

How to fix Frozen Spire.

So the Frozen  Spires nerf has pretty much made the skill a waste of a GCD. It's certainly made the talent useless, especially for 3 points worth. 

 

I will start by saying I do think it was VERY strong and a nerf was always on the cards however here's my suggestions. 

 

 

1)Keep the Main damage reduction as it is now (30%) and DON'T change the way the talents are, so if you spend 3 points it puts it back up to 60% damage with a 30% slow. This is both useful in PvP and PvE, PvP as Assassins don't really have a snare to keep people from just running away. Sure you have Eclipse and perhaps lobotomize but outside of this stun window people can just do one. 

 

2) You revert back the damage changes totally but make the move Frozen Spires only usable when Duel wielding, This would stop Warriors and Templars using it and potentially give DW rangers another snare they could use in a pinch. 

 

3)You keep the stats for both the move and the talents as they are now but change it so the talent (Watch your step) only cost 1 point for the full 15% +dmg/move reduction as opposed to 3. This would give Assassin a little more play with what they want to do. 

 

These are just opinions on how you could put this spell back to a good usable state. If anyone else feels like they have a suggestion, please feel free to add it. 

 


Bugged loot TR.

Having done 32 full TR runs over the last 24 hours I'm fairly certain the first bosses loot in TR is bugged.

 

Out of 32 runs we've received the 4 set pieces that where 3 Heavy armour gloves and 1 Heavy armour boots from the first boss.

Apart from that we've received no other items apart from 1 random Fair crystal and the chance for a remnant. This again is from the first boss. 

The other 2 boss loot tables seem fine, though slightly limited, however perhaps we've still not had a chance to go through all the table, an example of this is the last boss, the only heroics it has dropped are 1 handed fist weapons and a + melee throwing weapon. 

 

No other set pieces have dropped from either the 2nd or third boss and i'm un-sure if this is intentional. 

 

This is not a whine, this is not me asking for loot tables I like that there is a small % to get really good items. I will say however that the fact we've only received 4 Tier pieces and they've all been heavy seems a tad strange and perhaps the medium melee/range and light are bugged.

 

Perhaps everything is working as intended, and if this is the case then that is another topic for

discussion. 

 

 

Just for clarity. The 2nd boss has dropped 5 different blues ( shield, throwing weapon, 1handed melee axe, essence, 2 handed mace) This seems very fair. Random Fair gem. 

 

The last boss has dropped. 6 items. ( Heroic fist weapon, Heroic throwing weapon, staff, Xbow, + range 1 handed dagger, Blue fist weapon, Elemental flake.) Random Fair gem

 

The first boss has dropped a Gem and remnant. 


Dragging party frames. Prophet changes.

Being able to drag party frames to a more sensible location would really help out prophets. Clicking on each individual party portrait is not optimal as it is, it just makes it that much worse that it's in the top right hand corner of my screen. It seems like the coding is already there in the game as we can drag around trade windows, inventory and a bunch of other stuff, so why not let us have a little bit more UI customization. Wouldn't have to stop with party frames but mini map, action bars, chat window, all that kind of stuff. Then just give everyone a "Lock" option like you have currently for putting moves onto the action bar. 

 

Showing de-buffs under the players party portrait would also be extremely helpful for Prophets as currently the only way you could pro actively use Serenity would be clicking each individual player. This is just not practical.
