Interesting, but I think that the +levelup points you put next to those are a little high.

This quest will hinder most abilities. Keep in mind that 6 weeks in goth is a very long time.

I think a quest like this has merit. However, I don't think getting X number of level points would fly. Perhaps if it give you a number of stat point increases to specific stats, that would be better.

Well skalla, I would. Plus where does it state that you acctually have to move around? Just move occasionally for a big payoff. IF you have the patience.

Me as well, I think that the idea of level up points as a reward makes sense since that's about how many level up points a good player would have to sacrifice, going down to the state of being essentially a newbie for about 6 weeks. I like it.

i like this idea in principle, but as someone else said, for some people the stat decreases wouldn't affect them at all. Take my stats for instance:

Attack: 573
Defence: 178
AC: 269
DMG: 450-490
AP: 39 / 416
HP: 72 / 138
MP: 1 / 1

So:
-100 atk gives me 473, no big deal, i can still hit most things.
-200 def, again, no big deal, my AC is high enough that most things can only hit me for 1hp.
-5 hp, wow :)
-50 mp, umm i'm already on about -300.
-20 ap, unless i'm planning to use a usp it doesn't really bother me.

I think the suggestion of a percentage decrease is a much better idea and would make this a great quest :)

i guess it depends on whether you want to aim it at high players or low players.

an absolute penalty (-50 pts) will favour high level players
a proportional one (-30%) will favour neither higher or lower players...

but...
the rewards listed would favour lower players hugely. straight up +X pts? if it's low enough to be resonable for lower players to have it won't be worth it for the upper players.

thats why i think the quest is fairly good as designed...

i'm over level 200 and would suffer seriously from -150atk (warrior class)
but the rewards would be huge...
but a level 500 could suck it up easyer but the rewards would be less of a big thing to them...

if you made it a percentage, however i could do the quest as easily as them but the reward would remain huge for me and less significant to them.

The reward is far too high, it's like buying level up points.

i think something like this is a great idea. might need some reworking in terms of whether its neg stats or neg %age, but i'm sure HCS can figure out something that is workable.

as far as level pts as a reward, i think it's a great idea. of all the quests i can think of with stat bonuses, they all go into pretty much atk and def (with a few giving mp) - it'd be nice to get to PICK what stats you want to go up for a change :D
