So, there were three of us killing PL, killed it and i came 5th out of the three, i think maybe the PL needs to go to school

Yup that's what happened, there was 4 of us killing PL, Kharon joined when it was at 1M hp and I ended up  4th or something:)

 

I like the PL random ranking, everyone has a chance to end up 1st from time to time.

that would mean Kharon and gogsy hit it a couple of times, left the area and came 1st 2nd or third, something wrong there in my opinion

I think the ranking formula should go something like: time_spent *(damage dealt + heals + aggro + random_gen)

 

or some variation thereof that takes into account how long you spent on the PL as this is the only way I see of incorporating the true effort spent.
