"Composing" idea similar to this and simplier it seems for cows and players

this is a good idea that came from HCS. I know it takes a lot of coding, but would be real good to the game.

Meh...this idea is not original at all. Shattering sounds very much like World of Warcraft's Disenchant skill. In World of Warcraft, players with the Enchanting profession can disenchant any item into any three components: essences, dusts, or shards. The type of essence, dust, or shard depends on the disenchanted item's level.

You might also like to add different grades of quality (chipped, flawed, normal, flawless, perfect) to the alchemy gems themselves...just to make things Diablo-like :).

But I do welcome the implementation of this feature just the same.

I could really care less if it was original or not. it is good for the game and I hope to see it in game someday soon.

check the composing thread. looks like things are going that way. and the idea of composing is a bit similar to this one.

Come on Grim, still no word on this? Such a shame, had lots of potential for people to add a little individuality to their game, which frankly is sorely missing. :(

Bump.

Just because it's a far superior 'rubbish management solution' than the abomination currently being proposed.

Come on people, I've been stalking you all for a while now. A lot of people have looked at this thread but no ones said anything?

This idea makes the other look pretty stupid in comparison? :(

Sometimes I think HC's should implement their ideas without question... because everytime they open a discussion about certain idea community will keep arguing till its get tough for HC's to make decision.

This idea has been replaced by Composing. Note we'll be posting up a new revision today :)
