The thread is about the gold upgrade reset time, not the deposit reset time.
That makes no sense. "Gold upgrade reset time" as you put it is hourly set on what minute of the hour you started playing the game. It is the same time as your stam gain tick.

No, we're referring to the upgrade that can be purchased with gold to buy max stamina. We are not referring to the +5 gold received every hour with stamina gain.

Personally, I'd prefer that ALL resets -- i.e. bank deposits and the like -- occur at a standard time, e.g. 00:00 ST.

I don't see any issue with changing the Gold Upgrade reset time to midnight server time if that would be preferred
We'll look at changing it in an update before the New Year.
