#903935 Removing Gem's

Posted by penmen22 on 23 November 2014 - 20:08

I've been thinking about this lately too. Having gems be only be removable from items with EP is pretty P2W in my eyes.

Think about it, if a player works hard to put gems into his armor, and then later wants to take it out to put it into new armor, he has to be a paying player (means he has the EP to be able to do it). A f2p player on the other hand, has to sell his armor. There is nothing he can do. He has to start all over trying to remake that gem to put it into his new armor. Even if the f2p player can trade for EP, he is still at a disadvantage since finding a player to sell EP, and at a reasonable price might not happen.

No, gems are not just a luxury for players. A player with gems embedded into his armor is much more power than a player who doesn't use gems. Gems are a necessity.

Gem removal needs to be something other than EP. EP in my eyes was used for vanity and luxury purposes (respects, vanity, and more inventory slots). Removing gems isn't a luxury, it's necessary to be able to progress in the game at the same rate as a paying player.

#900633 Wrong mission target

The quest says to get the eggs from the Basilisk along the crystal shore. The crystal coast is this area: http://eldevin.wikia...i/Crystal_Coast

Other than the quest saying "shore" instead of "coast", I don't think there should be anything else wrong here.

#895248 Make farming less painful.

As much as I hate farming, I sort of disagree. I train farming because its so hard and only a select few people do. Having tedious and boring grinding in a game is important. It proved a different kind of economy...if there are enough players.

But yes, some things need to be changed such as lowering the time of those animation to be a bit faster through skill grades
(money sink?) or something.

#894941 simple yet lazy way get Clan/Guild chat

Quit being mean you jerks. You can easily tell what he/she is saying. English isn't everyone first language, and even if it is, there can still be many problems.

tl;dr of OP: Make the F6 chat system into a lazy man's guild until the real one comes out. Pay a small amount of money to make the F6 chat permanent.

This would be cool. Random little things like these in the game makes the game much more interesting.

#891632 Chat filters

Posted by penmen22 on 28 September 2014 - 02:09

I'm not sure if this is in the game already or not...because I can't find it...

But it would be nice to have some chat filters. A lot of the time i'm doing some skilling and trying to talk to someone near me in the local that, but the dang chat is spammed with the game telling me I just picked a raspberry over and over and over. I know i'm getting the raspberry and whatever amount of xp, I was the one who clicked it. I just want to talk to the guys around me.

It would be nice if there was a way to filter out these repeated messages.

Thanks

#865554 Some Suggestions =)

Posted by penmen22 on 27 April 2014 - 19:18

1 go play a facebook game

2 go play facebook games

3 mounts are pointless since you travel fast enough or can port to locations but sadly their in production and might come out in a year

4 go play perfect world and be a veno done

5 go play rift

6 go play client based games

7 why the hell do we need to swim

8 you can take the boats in the harbor to the few locations this is not battle ship or Pirate island or a facebook game

9 there is somewhat a weather system but its more of a day night and if your settings are right you can see something fallgn liek rain in areas

10 you want random go play rift/any other game thats client based

happy hunting all

Telling someone to go play other games and telling their suggestions are complete crap is a way to make the community hate you, and make the players hate the community. You can at least tell them why you don't like their suggestion or try to make them better. Stop being such a negative Nancy.

#863926 [Implemented] Backpack Locations

Posted by penmen22 on 20 April 2014 - 03:24

thats not that big of a deal, it would have been a problem if you didnt have enough space for every bag to be displayed at the same time

It's still a big deal...

I'm almost sure everyone has their own way of organizing their screen tabs when they log in. And doing that every time you have to log in is a pain. This is speaking from experience. Getting the tabs to that exact pixel every time is not fun. I'd rather play the game than worry about this.

#863296 Save the title screen music on/off

Posted by penmen22 on 16 April 2014 - 22:51

Some players may like the title screen music, and others may not. I don't have a problem with it, it's just that it is too loud.

I was hoping that the staff could introduce a feature where there is an option to save whether you keep the music turned on or off. Because what happens right now is that if you turn the music off and you go in game, play for a while and log off, the music will be turned on again. I realize that it just takes a click of a mouse to turn it off again, it's just the fact that it's incredibly inconvenient. You know, having to do it every time. Plus the fact that my in game sounds are low and when I log off, the music just blasts through my speakers.

Another method could be to introduce a slider. For players who like the music but think that it's much louder than the sound the in game music is set to can adjust it. And of course, have the option to save it so they don't have to change it again after the game launches again.

I don't think there is a downside to this. It would just be a little feature for players who like me, like to keep the game open in the background on the title screen for whenever they want to play later.
