If there were no demand for it, they wouldn't be there. People DO ask for them, thus they exist.

Yes, they are random.

It's not just about the stats Grim, but the pieces themselves. Hybrid sets are a bit harder to make work. The people that use them usually have something put together beforehand

When can we expect the other wave to come?

I would put it out there that having them a bit more close like every 7 days would give some folks a chance to make top 100 and also when its all done and appears again folks could choose which one to excel at.
Otherwise waiting for 10k stamers to fill would take quite a while

+1 for supplies used in future event waves as well Ill hope the 700 set doesn't break up better ones and has stats needed in that area (defense/dam plz!)

Well we don't need def/damage sets right now, I don't even think we need any def set for this range, what we really need is an armor set, I can build like 5 setups or more def based easily but I have a hard time building more than one good armor set around 700...

Defense + HP on 2,700 and pointless hybrid stats on 3,600.

 

These are truly awful choices. Kind of ruined what was a fantastic idea for me. Now there is no incentive to get some of those sets.

 

 

Well I'm sure a lot of players think the same as you, so how about this, why don't we get a buff that boosts hp? Somewhat like what armor boost, Keen Edge, Smashing Hammer and Shield Wall do? My thoughts are that those HP sets aren't that good because when using high level potions, you get  bonus to armor/def/damage/attack and if you're using a set with HP you will lose bonuses you could get using other sets, in fact it is better to use any other set that has benefits from stat boosters and then transfer some to hp using Severe Condition.

Just a heads up, the Hijacked Heirloom at least, takes damage if it's extracted and in your BP when you wander round getting resourses. I had damage showing as 99.7% on my items and 70k gold on hand and quick repair was having none of it with 'R'. Had a look in the blacksmith and the quest items had 103k damage on them each x4 with my main items at 350 gold each to repair.

 

-edit to add didn't effect the invent but they shouldn't be susceptible...

That's correct. The idea is that this is an event we can keep relevant as time goes on as we can add more recipes over time. Waves 2 and 3 are built with wave 3 awaiting art. Plus, with the Quest Items themselves being unbound, it encourages trading and, hopefully, Guilds encouraging their members to take part, providing more items for building Guild Sets and whatnot.
