I haven't checked prices on the Epic drop part of this recipe.  I did get a really bad taste in my mouth when it was  suggested I need the Azure Feathered set for my current hunting setup.  Average price per piece was 300 FSP and up.... WAY out of my league, so I devised something a little more affordable, as I'm not even gonna think about asking can we get a guild set..... So the SE market is on the rise, I guess......  Maybe I'll trip over one of the beasts on the recipe list, make a trade....   If I can be bothered to find out.    It still smacks of a skewed economy to me though

Id just like to make a couple humble suggestions and hope it can help fix this so everyone feels good about it.


First and most important,, tele 200, I was first to point out how thats pay to win. How to make this a lucrative item to buy when they are offered and support the game but at the same time keep everyone who cant or wont buy one feeling like they have a chance at anything? I have put real thought into this over the last couple days and keep comming back to personal tkp,, cant we just make it accumulate? Everyone talks about excitement and challenge well I am challenged in participating in many titans because guild was on cooldown and challenged in competing against the bought teleport (and yes ZERO chance of a tele 175 competing with a 200), so all I have left is participating as I can and getting a share of a sale hoping one day ill add up enough to buy one. With personal TKP we all can participate at any level from the tele200 to the guy who cant even afford a buff version. This above anything else I can think of gives the donating palyer the chance to farm up mutiple epics at the same time the little guy can add up over a season or 2 enough to get one of their own. In time there will be a balance and more folks will but the pot to gain a advantage (and for $60 it should) but the little guys will also be able to earn a epic of their own with hard work and competition!

Or just bind any personal cooldown titan drop,, tho that doesnt seem like a solution at all. 

Either way the seasons almost over and everyone I talk to or read here is still pretty sore about it. so all I can hope is maybe now the time will be taken to at least consider how this is actually working in live game.

For those that care over 200 tp 200+ were used this seasonal and counting. Wouldn't be surprised if we have less than 200 left in active and inactive players backpacks afterwards. The chests that include them are only once a year releases. The tp200+ chest has been out for i think two years now. Surely too much of a demand. Soon enough won't be viable to use really. They could turn out to be a very good business venture for HCS. I foreshadow a huge influx in people donating in those two months.

The potion of teleport is a really neat thing people bought a while ago and found a great use on seasonals. I cant argue it makes it very well worth the points or cash to buy one. I just wish people could just make individual tallys too. 
All other saltyness washes away with the amusement of seeing people using the potion of teleport to get multiple things they really really wanted that being a really really cool epic that only a few will have for a year. Well worth the effort and investment!

hahaha i have more loses as an individual than i can count, and yeah i recall only 24 kills apart for the win very close race  angry.png  biggrin.png

I get the feeling certain guilds are cycling players So each guild has a time and day for players to get their secures, the Great thing as belaric said it will cause prices to crash.
 
My ping to FS is 281 m/secs on average anyone who has a ping of 20 m secs or less has a quarter of a second advantage for every single click I do now fast hunters can hunt twice a week and faster ones can gain 3 guild secures a week.
Sure there needs to be a way for everyone to gain items but this isn't it. Best solution is 1 personal secure per event rather than what is happening now.

Starting to slowly think maybe 1 personal secure per season is suitable. As far as the organizing goes? Probably not as organized as you think. Probably just a simple message in guild chat "going now!". So here is what i think needs to change.

 

Cooldown Rules Inside Seasonal's

 

- Personal Cooldown for seasonal titans should be once per season.

 

- Everything else inside and out is fine.

 

Seasonal Titan Quest's

 

- Personally didn't find anything wrong with the quest whatsoever

 

- Possible tweak could be that the titan is alive for a 59 minutes regardless when it's hp hits 0 no more tkp can be earned but people on the quest can earn credit towards the quest.

 

- Quest reward was perfect. Think it would be great if we see more seasonal event quests like this for other facets of the game too. Seasonal chests/se anyone? Scavenging cave quest? 

 

Teleport 200+

 

- I've been constantly conflicted on this the whole season and i think i will just break it down into pro's and con's and have you decide.

 

Pros

 

- Those slower TH now have a chance to compete against faster TH that aren't using tp200+

 

- Great incentive to donate to HCS

 

- More donations = more dev time!

 

- Demand far overshadows the supply therefore one could infer it will continue to be more rare to see player's hunting with this. I think over 250 TP chests were used this season in total. We are now under a total population of 300 in both active and inactive players backpacks.

 

- Player's who say they "cannot" afford them will save up for them and purchase them through various facets of the game and increase overall activity and move the economy forward.

 

Cons

 

- They are expensive

 

- Hunting against tp200 without tp 200 is next to impossible. They could be beaten with a guild group though.

 

 

 

 

That is my synapse on what i feel after going through the season and reading everyone's feedback. Feel free to further any of my thoughts.

You were both using potion of win button, it was an epic fight pun intended



For the other posts since my last one,,,

Of course theres collusion do you really think people are going to use these pots and not check to make sure someone else in their guild isnt going to do the same?? We are now noticing where 2 or more,,, well I havent seen more than 2 but the potential is there,,, fighting over who actually gets the win. ITs actually kind of exciting and one reason I no longer can hate on the pot itself, perhaps its time for FS to evolve into a couple more win buttons ,,,available to buy in limited quantitys.

cooldowns,, I dont like a one per season but I am still hoping the voices asking for accumulated tkp will be heard and at least considered. Even with some cons,, suggested ones were longer cooldown, bound and other stuff to balance it but to me the accumulated tkp is really all thats missing to make this a win for everyone. 

 

The new quest,,, I think its prety cool although I have to point out that the elementals had a similar issue and eventually the required kills were lowered, this was supposed to be a seasonal, I say supposed because thats my one suggestion to fix this,,, make her permanent albiet massively low spawn rate. 
The best part was how a maru armor I got months ago went from somethig I may have composted into a new epic of my own in a very nice trade :) Id love to see a couple more recipies of not too overpowered gear made with the most neglected SE stuff. 

SEs and seasonal chests is an awesome idea. 

As far as tele200 goes as mentioned above perhaps its time to add a few win buttons and keep the game supported but always give a way for even the poorest player using a old tandy system on dial up connection could at least add up to get one day.

Finally had enough time to finish the new Epic quest today. Thank you HCS for the event! I really enjoyed it (beside the whole personal CD thing) :)  Also thankful for the servers holding up these past few events :)

 

Hopefully I didn't jinx it :o

I note that my personal cooldown on Wyld Mari was reset when my guild cooldown ended and I was allowed to hit Mari for TKP - so, in my experience, the personal cooldown does NOT last for the full 7 days, the Guild cooldown coming to an end also ends the personal cooldown. I am not surprised at this, given the activity of other titan hunters over the course of the seasonal event.

 

That pattern of resetting was as Hoof worded it way back on Page 1 or 2 as I quoted before. I do not think it should reset in that fashion, if it is to be kept at all.

 

I remain hopeful Hoof and HCS will review the titan activity over the season and see if this experiment worked as they wished, and adjust mechanics according to the data they observe.

Your personal cool-down does not reset. Guild cool-down is totally a separate entity.

It reset for me. I should not have been able to hit Wyld Mari until tomorrow per my understanding that my personal cooldown was still active, yet I hit it yesterday after my guild coldown expired, 48 hours before my personal cooldown was scheduled to expire. I thought the personal cooldown should have prevented me from being able to hit that titan (if it did indeed last for 7 days), but did not. So something is not working as claimed. Or, the personal cooldown does reset when the guild cooldown expires too.

 

Unless we are to accept that the two work in tandem yet separately and that yesterday I could not personally secure Wyld Mari before that 7 day cooldown has expired, but was allowed to hit it as a guild member. That really is having cake and eating it. Maybe I should try to hit it now and see what happens. (Just did - I was told I could not hit it until 5th Jan which is guild cooldown expiry date. I suppose I shall have to check tomorrow after my personal cooldown has expired to see if I am allowed to hit it then, which will show the two are separate and work as described.) If so that should be explained clearly by Hoof.

 

My feeling is that once the personal cooldown is in effect, no hitting of that titan, personal or guild,  should be possible by that player until that personal CD is complete. Let other guild members pick up the slack until that member on personal coldown is free to help again. Having two definitions of cooldown working at the same time is a recipe for confusion. I am ever less impressed by this system.

 

09:29 29/Dec/2017 You obtained the item 'Boots of Wyld Mari' from your contribution to the defeat of the titan 'Wyld Mari (Titan)'. As you obtained the reward for the titan 'Wyld Mari (Titan)', a 7 day cooldown has been activated on your character for this titan. This only affects this particular titan and you can still hunt other titans during the cooldown.

Guild cooldown is for the guild and personal is for the person hunting alone. Simple enough.

Yeah belaric that's the way I had interpreted myself also, but it's like EP said they both are seperate CD. That don't affect each other

My opion on the personal  secures i dont see how just making first place makes it fair they get the drop and it should be the same rule for personal secure as guild secure.At least half the tkp of titan should be needed just like a guild and it should not be making 900 kills and make first place you get the drop i think this is unfair and should not be. Same rules should apply for half the the tkp for drop.
