FYI: The tournaments were filling up like wildfire on thursday because of the token concept and prices were extremely cheap and it died down on friday when they put the prices at 2000 tokens. Greed comes to mind here, as you said earlier as well.

 

And no they were not filling up.  I guarantee there were way less matches played friday then thursday.  And as for your matches filling up...I looked at almost the same tournaments for 5 hours and most of the tournaments were not even half full.  Keeping telling yourself your right and its fair....but it still wont make it either!

 

PS maybe save some space and address the part of my argument you are against, or is it that you just have one goal.  All higher level arena matches......kick out the lower level players.  I can still play almost 50% of the matches......but there are a ton of players who cant even play 5 matches.

Im sure if the cows look at the data, there were more than double the matches played on thursday then there were on friday.......i would go as far from watching only 5 hours to say that number may be higher that 5 times as many more matches played before the "new equal level range rule". I dont have the Completed Tournaments times so I cant prove it, but after watching last night(friaday) for 5 hours I can honestly say that there were very few tournaments filling up and being played. Wheras, on thursday the arena matches were filling up and plenty of people were playing.

I'm trying to argue for fairness for ALL, you are arguing for MORE for the lower levels.. And in this case, I am fighting for the higher levels that you said you never had a problem with.

As most games are created, MORE options are available to those that level higher. Lower levels won't have as many perks and that's normal. Why are you trying to punish those that achieved higher levels and therefore have access to more options and perks?

Just keep "ASKING"  the cows how they can help you do better until there are only a few players left. Only about 450 online on a good night.  I hope for the sake of the game this rule does not stick, but mark my words....If it does pass we will lose a LOT of arena players.
 
I hope you are proud when that happens!!

Oh and how on earth will this drive players from the game? This idea provides arena tournaments for all the levels and it will replenish each filled arena in the level area..

Please truly balance the level range

 

I haven't really joined arena at all due  to high levels only ones i joined Today was the 500's

i've been waiting for some in the 25-49

Today is saturday here, thursday the arena had potions for 40 tokens, then friday they changed it to the arena 3 rule.......man you are a piece of work......it just goes to show that you dont pay attention to anything anyone has to say!!!

Gee i think the players who are below 1000 who you are taking away more than half of thier arena matches.........really more if you look at the arena might be a little upset that they can enter less than half the matches they could before. And the lower thier level the less matches they can play.....yeah if they played the arena i think they might be upset........but dont let it worry you cause your getting what YOU asked for and could care less about the players below you.

 

I on the other hand care about those players, since if they keep leaving and there are no new players to replace them this game wont be much fun.

 

Its fine with me, look how many players we lost after they changed PVP, look how many we lost after cooldown, all things that players like you ASKED and BEGGED for.......now you ASK for them to change the arena for you to benefit you and to keep out the lower level players......yeah i dont think.....I know players will leave.

 

Look around the only new player are almost all Duplicates......COUGH COUGH.......should I spell out a few other names besides gomezkilla or do you just want to stick with that one?????

Thanks J3K at least someone has the decency to admit that the arena is not going well with the arena #3 update b/c of all the high levels.......others just want to weed out possible opponents!!

 

I hope you dont have to long to find a match, friday night the lowest match i saw in 5 hours was level 153.  Sorry other players cant see how its truely unfair to lower level players.

 

There really is not need for a ladder level of arena matches.   We already have a ladder where people can play in thier own bracket all day 24/7 and win as many tokens as they want.  Now the want to make the arena 'ladder style" so they can dominate individual levels, levels that half the players in the game cant enter.....but as gomezkilla would say its FAIR GAME since you can enter a 1000 or 2000 level match with level 400 gear....according to him you have a FAIR chance to win??  NOT !!!!

You can compete with anyone if you spend like what they spent and if you are worried about profits you will never get any better.

Everyone starting arena spend much more than what get... you have 7 wins and say you can't compete? you didn't even win enough moves to win...

The hole point of the arena is the incentives otherwise you would just PVP. What is the point of doing it if you can't get the moves to win or spend hundreds of FSP on gear and then still lose. It is dumb and not fair to those trying to come into the arena. No point to spend gold and FSP on gear just to get your face kicked in every time by the "masters" There has to be different brackets and the incentives, points, gear, potions should all reflect that.

Ok, wait...

- About the moves: They're extremely easy to get on novice Arena, really, you can get all then in 1-2 days.

- About the 'thousands of FSP in gear': Usually everyone who play Arena has a lot have a lot of gear for that, just like who make PvP have PvP gear, and who just hunt have a lot of potions. Arena is a part of the game as any other.

What you're refering of is the knowledge that 'Arena Masters' have and you don't have yet, about the moves, gear to join, etc. And the ONLY way to learn that is, guess what, playing the Arena, and losing A LOT, and learning from that.

How many losses do you think someone with 3000 wins had to take ? Somedays you join 30-40 and win  3 or 4 ... This will never happen. No one is going to make it easy for you. If u want to get some wins, earn them like everyone else. I  suggested a free arena mode, where you risk nothing and win nothing ..that is a fair solution for someone looking for an easy way to the top.

They can have more wins than you? Of course, they lost a LOT and have joined a lot more Arenas than you, they already played that part, and deserves credit for it.

Now Arena prizes players who finished 2nd and 3rd, and that's awesome, and the best incentive you'll have.

No advantage huh? That's a bunch of crap!!! The arena masters have the the best, most expensive gear. That alone puts the  average player at a huge disadvantage.

And how they will know what 'the best gear' is without playing the Arena and learning? And most of them have bought the 'Arena gear' using the prizes from the Arena, plus, a lot of guilds have those items tagged anyway.

Of course they know more, they have mroe gear, but all that the get put effort on knowing how the Arena works, I've learned a lot those last months, just now I have 146 Arena wins, not that good, but not that bad too.

Anyone who starts will be losing a lot, A LOT, but that's the only way to pratice.

If you are missing a lot even with attack moves, you should change your setup to find more attack. If you're losing on moves you should rework your move setup, always trying to beat those you know you'll face on the Arena tournament.

Those few days I was facing the same player on the same lvl range, and losing for the moves, so I watched his moves and changed mine to win, and the Arena players will always do those things...But that means a LOT of loses.

Advantage comes from playing often and learning by LOSING  A LOT!
