just curious, i have not seen the discuss this update here links on the home pages. are the links missing, or are they not up for discussion anymore? or is there something i am missing ?

You just click the page icon, beside the title of the post on the news page

There is a scroll image to the left of the thumbs up/down which you click to view the forum on the new news post.

no thumbs up or down image on my end :s and if i am not mistaken that is a facebook thing that i wouldn;t click anyway..
perhaps i am getting too old, i miss the straightforward, click here to discuss, so simple a caveman could figure it out button, lol.

ahh that explains it, i should start getting used to more and more things not working in the old UI then..
am sure at some point i will be forced to change to it

Yes, the link (Scroll Icon) does only appear in the new UI.
ok, i just tried it out, the scroll link is the number to the right with no description or any indication that it is a button that takes you to a place to discuss updates?

We've re-added the link to view the forum thread relating to the news on the old UI and added a mouse-over to the 'scroll' image to news posts on the new UI.
