All you can honestly do with a previous is text slap... i honestly prefer this method: ... Give me a single word... and ill make an image... but alas most ppl dont like what they get.
Then, you can make me a different one, I don't mind. If you want just render the first image I sent. If you want a word, use this one: Ice.
I'll wait as long as I need too, I don't mind.

Actually he hand draws them, though it definetly does seem like like text slapping without knowing that tidbit of information.
He showed a bunch of his other work last night, and I couldn't find it on google or anything...
You're right about the dimensions though.

The picture is a fully coloured icy landscape, d'you think anyone can make that in 2 hours?

I have a real life friend who can do it in half an hour though it doesn't have near the same quality. However, as always, you have a point.

even if he did draw that "avatars" which i seriously doubt at this point, do you really believe someone with so much "talent" in drawing would have so little talent in text? do you really think someone would draw something at the wrong dimensions? do you really think someone would draw something at far larger scale and resize it down so it loses all of the detail? do you really think someone would find it easier to "draw" from a single word than use an image as reference?

I must say all you do is change colors and add text.
I must say, that is kinda insulting to a lot of the people here. You may not like what they do, you may do your style differently. But please, respect the people here! No matter how little you think they do, please keep the opinion to yourself if it will offend other people.
Especially if it's wrong.

might i just point out something ... since he pissed me off by calling other ppl's work his .... and im sorry LadyBarr for using ur avatar as an example ...
as you can see here this is an avatar with a "space theme" whose dominanat colour is dark blue ... you can also notice that the soft blue line isnt a filler ... it adds to the picture and makes it better ... infact even if i were to have text slapped this picture i would have put the text in in one of the bottom corners since they are the emptiest parts .....
but to prove that he didnt make this ....
look at every good avatarist's work ... usually the text is in the emptiest place, they wont put the thext anywhere where it could cut out the focal, or a significant part of the bg ... NO WHERE do i see a place to put words
yet this "professional graphics designer" has forgotten this fact ... he has defaced his own art .... cause frankly the text just looks fugly .... no-offense dude ... but that picture was NOT made with text in mind ... and yet you decided to put 2 BLACK texts at 100% opacity on the horizon ...
casue from looking at the picture i cna see that .. the bottom part is earth, the top right is the planets and the topo left is the universe .... NO WHERE in that picture do i see an empty space ... infact .... if the line wasnt there the depth of the picture is gone .....
so MR. Professional Gaming company graphics designer ..... lemme ask you this ...... im preety sure ive seen some of those drawings in DA ..... would u be willing to bet that i cna find them ..... oh and one more thing ... if you HAD drawn this image ... you would have known enough not to put the BIG THCT ... or to choose black for the text ....
if you do insist on stealing other artists work please feel free to shut ur trap and get out of water ...... cause frankly .... EVERYONE here hates a ripper .....
