I'm on stage 4 of 10 for the quest. He checks the first site then the second and it's until he crosses the bridge that he glitches. 

 

This happened three times on Zephyr then I tried Terra... same thing. 

 

First time he manages to go in but now he runs away from the entrance of the room like he is afraid of something lol. And he remains like that. 

 

Relogging doesn't help as he follows me around or remains stuck and doesn't trigger the quest until I dismiss him and leave the cave and come back in.

 

Added a gif at bottom to show.. him glitched and the other showing him run away  

Despite how much I'm annoyed with him right now, it sure was funny

this quest .. it has been bugged for like 2 million years now .. lol .. it had many bugs even when i did it the first time like a year and half ago or smth

So it's not completable at all? Guess I'll move on and hope someday it gets fixed.

I managed to get it past the bug at one point - I forget how. I think I went in and used an area effect, or used an area effect where creatures were supposed to appear. Sorry - I wish I remembered better.

it is completable .. it just takes an insane amount of effort .. so many things if u do .. the quest gets bugged and shit

If i remember correctly u have to be sure that u are *inside* the box in the center of the room after killing all the mobs

Ok so I went inside the room and he seems to follow to where I stand and become stuck. Tried it again but closer to the red crystals and he was still stuck. So I decided to switch servers and the next stage finally activated.

 

I could've sworn I did that last night but I guess being close to the red crystals work. Jeez lol.

Hello All   

I manage to succeed this quest just by putting my character in the middle (inside where you need to put the man close to the red crystals). After i log out and log in. And the man follow me just after this  and i pass this quest. Try a lot next to the crystals and inside. I see this working for friend and for me so i hope that can help you

A simple relog works for me, but yes, it's an old bug and it happened to me 6 times in my 6 alts
