Paid 500 gold and joined a novice arena naked for +5 max stamina.. i imagine this is how most will do this arena daily quest.. please think about changing it back to win an arena.. will get more players involved and actually try to complete the daily quest..

i kinda agree..this will be what many do, bad for activity..but winning 1 arena would be extremey hard for those that have not done arena..i do arena all day..i am lucky to win 1 a week..

 

.as a compromise- have the quest for arena be - win 1 ROUND of arena...that will keep the naked players away, make players actually think about what to put on....and is possible to do even if you are a beginner...anybody can luck into a win for a round

 

on the subject of se's...- please make something (invents) to use se drops on..more se's are getting killed now with dq's ....se's drops were already close to worthless for many of them..now i cant even get 10k gold for se drops like steep, fushi boxes, yoaki drops, etc..,so sad....unheard of..please make the drops worth something again...a se drop should have some value in the game

On the whole QH question:

 

"Quest Hunter At skill level 50+ grants 2x the kills towards quest requirements.. At level 100+ 3x, and at level 150+ 4x."

 

The buff was created for a reason. Based on the skill description above, I have a really difficult time rationalizing why it is NOT working with these.

 

If the Cows opt to go with counter-logic, that's fine. They will need to change skill descriptions and will hopefully advertise the changes in game.

Simple. Change the description by adding "(does not work with daily quests.)"

Description is still the same, still leading to confusion.

 

My "vote" would be that it boggles my mind why the buff cannot be used for the very reason it was implemented.

 

For the record, that doesn't mean I really agreed with it being implemented, lol. But let's not get off topic on that one.

They ought to just reward raw FSP's like they were originally supposed to so i and other's can choose where to place them.

 

I'd be against that. Could def help the game economy, but doubt it'd help the cow economy. 

 

It's all about benefiting the game. As it stands this isn't adding anything of real worth to the game. Great idea...Great concept. Just implemented very poor.

 

So what's your suggestion? Or was making the rewards for FSP it?

i agree with no to fsps rewards or even fsps shards..they need that part of the economy.. there are plenty of other ways to reward players..i really like the + max stam, + decent amount of loyalty tokens, + gold, + reserve stam( more of these needed)...you can still add xp, composing xp,   - rare rewards like +1 stam gain, +1 bp slot, a chest ( like the ones in the game) or any other upgrade..make them rare..but possible..

Greenskins are not being counted for daily quest ,maybe because the global creatures are greenskin also ,but either way not being counted (Skar Orc Spearman) greenskin lvl 908 ,i will try later to see if it gets fixed ....  it is fixed already never mind !!!

If they did allow the buff to work, the quest would be far too easy so the kill count should be quadrupled. This would give an advantage to higher level players where the buffs are easily obtained. Not so for the wee players. I think it's fine as it is. There are many aspects that boggle the mind... that's what makes FS, FS... ;-p

Every successful game has an way to play the game without donating. Making a few fsps wont hurt anything. Following your logic TH should of been removed years ago.

That is a bit disingenuous, Egami. Daily Qeusts didn't exist when the buff was created, so one can't call "daily quests" the reason it was implemented.

 

Fundamentally, there is a substantial difference between "daily quests" and "quests". HCS could just as easily have called them "daily tasks", and nothing would have changed---except the degree of boggling in your mind ;) (and possibly the level of player confusion).

 

I fully agree that the buff descriptions should be updated, but I see no logical inconsistency in HCS treating DQs and Qs as separate entities

still got some issues..today i got dq of walk 200 tiles...easy as pie..as i am walking around killing globals..problem is my counter still says 0/200 ..it is not counting any of my steps ??..am i just screwed..what can i do to fix this ?

Refresh your page. Your count should appear. Additionally, ensure your browser is up to date. Do you have the Helper installed?

i did that and it did work..i had this same dq twice and it was counting them as i as going..this time it is not..but as long as it eventually counts my steps, i guess it is ok..thxs for quick help bg

np..glad it is somewhat working..reading gc..looks like others are having issues of it not counting right away, but waiting until a refresh of the page before counting..was working great first few days..hope this it not how it is going to be..will confuse too many...needs to go back to counting things as we go..thxs for help..like the new dq..many ideas still to come for them

Awesome update! Enjoy having the "option" of doing or not doing the daily quest. Gives me something to do while waiting for da paint to dry aka stam gain,lol

I actually sell QH for pretty cheap, and I'm not above ninja buffing a few active small fry for the lulz

Unlike most every player of every bracket in the ladder has more than enough target to get DQ bonus except a few, the pvp DQ has a problem that needs to be addressed. I have one target for pvp and it was suggested I join the ladder for more targets if said DQ pvp shows up again. Joined ladder and got my ass kicked and no DQ pvp for last 36 hours. Since it is unknown when the ladder reset occurs that give the advantage to the pvpers to be first to get the bronze medal (since all the other quest are easy for even a brainless pvper). So, how are you planning to make the tables even for non pvpers? Maybe give an option  of temperately join the ladder for quest nd wait till next reset to opt out?

I can only smooth talk my target so much and since my target hates pvp that become extremely negative.

At the same time if I'm on the ladder waiting for the daily pvp quest...I lost 1.5 levels and it never showed :P Better tweek the reward to 200 reserve or 100 to max stam before I do that again when I'm RL busy!!!

Another option would be add  2 ladder point for 5th to 10th place

Today quest was reduce titan's hp by 175, so when to scouting tower in my guild, found a titan i hunt easily and got did the daily quest and then said to myself " to hell with it might as well just secure the damn thing while i am it and did." So thanks to the quest i finally got around to soloing a titan, got a medal tick for daily quest, plus 50 reserve stam and then went and got my bronze se medal while i was at it.

 

Anyways thanks for the daily quest, it got  me going on something i probably could cared less about considering i prefer to level, gvg and compose pots. : )

I had a daily awhile back, kill so many dwarfs for whatever it was.

 

I looked in the bestiary for their location then went off to do the quest.

 

Found out that not just any old dwarf would work for the quest, I had to find and kill the right dwarf.  Finally got it done. lol

 

That was interesting.

after seeing another thread for a hide and seek competition...maybe this idea "hide and seek" could be employed by the dailies...even better- could be an idea for daily events still to come out...

We're planning to have the next update ready within the next couple of weeks which will include many new types of Daily Quest and also new rewards for them too :)
