Asking out of curiosity - where do you put your abilty points into?

As a Prophet, I'm currently spending my points into 6 Sorcery, 3 Focus and 3 Energy every 2 levels (or to be more detailed: 3 Sorcery every level and 2 Focus / 1 Energy, changing every second level to 1 Focus / 2 Energy).
I'm quite happy at the moment since I get through the game quite well and healing seems to be enough in dungeons - but I'm not sure if it would be better to change something (Thanks for free respecs if I do something terribly wrong).

So, tell me about your ability points!

Omfg yes, finally a post about a class where I can participate in. First of all, here is my current prophet tree: http://talenttheory....H1I1J2K1N1Q1V1/

(remember to check both mage and prophet tree)

As far as attribute points go, I used to do the whole putting a few points in everything (when I was a mage), and it worked nice, but then one day some random nice player suggested going full on sorcery. I did that, and it was even better. This works for me as a prophet too, every attribute point on sorcery. I get all the vitality, mana, and and focus I need from my gear. But mana still tends to be low during battle, so that is why there are those 5 points in my mage tree. It helps with mana regen during battle. Also, mana potions help out a lot. The fight is always done before I can even run out of mana with these 2 things.

Thanks for your post!
I resetted my points spontaniously and went for the "All in sorcery" build - works really good at the moment! :)
The idea with the 5 points in the mage tree is really amazing, since range autohits are really quick and can re-gain mana efficiently. Playing with mana potions was also an intention of mine for higher levels, so I really found your build fitting my ideas well.

Also created a tree for me: http://TalentTheory....H1I1J2K1N1Q1V1/

Adjusted it to my playstyle / the way I think I will play (for example, 3 points into "Infused Healing" since I use Revitalize as a primary skill while practicing my timing when to use it effectively), but your tree definitely was a good help.

Hope to see some other ideas / playstyles here! :)

I cant remember my old build. BUt i think it was something similar to this
http://talenttheory....G3H1J2K1O2Q1V1/

I dont see the need to put 2 points in Essence of Magic. ! was enough to sustain my mana at all times.

If I speced back to PvE build today I would make some changes to fit my newer playstyle (more dps basicly)

Something like this
http://talenttheory....B1C1H1J2L2O2V1/

I always grab Radiance over Pacifist. Simply because, you shouldnt get aggro unless you start heal too early in a pull. And Radiance is that last call if someone lags or makes a mistake losing/getting aggro

I went with a full Sorcery build. An extra point in Focus doesn't outweigh the benefits of an extra point in Sorcery.

Also I put 5 talents point in the mage tree for extra Haste and Mana, plus I put 3 points in the Ranger tree for extra mana. Maybe a bit overkill... but getting 2.5% of your max Mana per hit, or 4.16% per second is just plain sweet to watch. :D

I both got Radiance and Pacifist. I don't heal too early in a pull, but I can be an aggressive healer. Also when adds enter a fight the tank might have just taunted a second earlier and those adds will come after me during a Dogma. Best to Radiance-stun them and hope the Tank sees his/her healer is in a tight spot. ;)

I may post my build later today if the game is up again (Yeay! Winter's event!).

Hmm... my UK spelling check is drunk again. It says "hope" is spelled wrong and it has no suggestions for it... Did the UK give up on hope??
