Um, dick.

Scythian's armor was shattered.

Scythian's Boots was shattered.

Attacking someone 20 levels weaker than you over and over again untill you ruin their items, is that nessicary? Really.

That's what happens in a GvG conflict. The object is to try and get 50 victories.

Ah, that's crap. the funny thing is half the time I killed him, but then this happened

Scythian hits masihbayi for 116 damage. (Piercing Strike)
Last Ditch activated on death restoring 20% HP to masihbayi.
masihbayi hits Scythian for 601 damage. (Piercing Strike)

Every time.

So let me get this strait, you make a conflict, then you enchant yourself so if you get killed it doesn't count... and you seek out the weakest person opn the other side who isn't even online or prepared at all? That sounds dirty to me.

I'm not usually a complainer, and I wouldn't mind at all if he didn't break my gear. I can't even hunt properly now. That's kinda.. wack.

Yup, or some so called PvPers take bounties but don't hit on them. Or claim they are a top PvPer in their bio and brag that their suicide set beat higher level players on the board. Or their guild declares war and then don't follow it through, and when they start getting hit the run to the game developers for protection. All this is commonplace in PvP, or in one guild/player in particular, and you'll soon work out who play more that one account. Don't be disheartened by the cheats and cowards, it's a fun game, stick with it :-)

Guild conflicts are totally fair, the problem is,,,,
your gear sucks
you are easy to beat
your guild isnt buffing you (fyi the buff last ditch doesnt work 100% but yea would have helped you!)
and whining in here will only bring attention to this

A guild conflict is a battle between guilds for reputation points and bragging rights, you must try to defend yourself and that includes doing everything you can to make yourself strong. Try donating or failing that do surveys and forge your gear and see a lot less attacks

First, it is against the rules to give unwarranted attention to a player, so you should have XXX out the attackers name.

Second, My suggestion would be to join a strong guild. They will help with repairs, gear, and advise on how to defend yourself.

OR

Go solo (I don't recommend it).

To be fair, very few people hit online players in a GvG. It makes it a coin toss at best if both people have good gear and buffs cast on them.

Shar, there isn't much of a community aspect with a solo guild. Nothing wrong with it ...

its just a harder path to go ...

to the OP, I noticed your guildless to avoid gvg hits.

most guilds will hook you up with descent gear, just start applying to good ones, = )

Bah, why? Because you don't all share the same great xp pool or mooch gear off of each other? I can talk to just as many people as I could if I were in a guild, more actually because there are no guild disagreements or 'guild allies/enemies'..

Game can be a little harder I suppose, although.. If your hunts are already paying for your own upkeep then it'd actually be cheaper in a solo guild. If not it becomes quickly evident that you have in fact been mooching off of whoever make the large gold deposits..

I get a lot of people ask me if I get lonely in a solo guild, what they don't seem to realise is the very fact that they have pm'd me has made their question nonsensical. I probably talk to a lot more people than some that are in guilds, big guilds..

well this is getting off topic ... BUT

Most players are not rich, so they do have to mooch a bit at first, but many of them contribute 10x later on ... just takes time ..

I find having 5-20 people online at all times a GOOD thing in my guild ... people are always able to ask questions, chit chat, and relax after a hard day at work / family / etc. That is what I meant by community ...

You can't have that with 1 person in a guild. Also, your unable to do GvGing, which many guilds enjoy.

I'm not rich :)

I also chit chat, ask/answer questions (some days I get SICK of doing it) and relax just the same. Talking in guild chat is REALLY that different to talking in pm to you? O.o lol

gvg'ing.. That's a double edged sword, sure some like it... I wonder how many people would envy my position of being gvg-proof though? ;)

Compared to the average player ... your much richer than most, probably myself included (in-game wealth, not real life wealth).

Unless they allow group conversations via in-game functions ... guild chat is superior to PMs. Meaning, if its a 4, 5, or 6 way conversation, how does that work via PMs?

However, we are thinking about a vent system for better communication,

That's a pretty huge assumption there Windbattle, you might be surprised....

Group chats don't work well anywhere on FS, if you want to chat as a group, pick up a phone or use skype...

Not sure what a 'vent system' is but I know I certainly don't miss the 'Buff me please', 'Does anyone have free stuff', 'I can't kill this what am I doing wrong' GUFF, the only time a guild is ANY good is when everyone in it knows what they're doing. I have no time for ignorant, greedy, stupid or simply people incapable of listening.

Being in a solo guild is no more expensive or harder than being in a regular guild, providing you're not the type of player who mooches off of other people anyway and have a good understanding of the game mechanics.

Unfortunately it is hard for some, a lot in fact because the game has a LOT of those types of people in it, forgive me for not automatically assuming that the OP was though. ;)

Its a difference of opinion Shar. However, most people say they play this game / continue to play this game for the player base / friendships.

The game play is okay ... sometimes getting improved or torn down with new updates, depending on your point of view.
