I would like to play with different builds in this game and that is limited to talents and armors in this game.I suggest that there should be a talent on each row of all the classes that can benefit at least most of the other classes(I know this is partially added I'm just asking for more variety Ex:In the assassin tree there can be a talent that reads - Damage done to by your arrows do 30% more Damage if target is Poisoned, something like that.).I would like to see more hybrid comps for each class such as range/mage warrior/ranger etc.The armor in the game needs to be modified as well for different play styles such as a chest piece that normally gives + 35 Melee  there could be a different item that just gives

+ 20 Melee+ 20 Range instead for a ranger/warrior play style. This along with gems will make a big variety in builds.

What do ya think?

This would be nice, not only would it promote hybrid builds, but better forming of groups. Keeping your example a ranger assassin group combo would do more damage through the assassins poison and the rangers arrows than just the ranger attacking.

So the ranger would have to take this new talent, but could rely on an assassin who already has 3 pts in poison to poison the target.

Hmmmm, I see where your going with this. It would be a big departure from what we have at the moment. Which means that there would be a large scope for things going horribly wrong

Also it would also lead to confusion as to what armour would be good for Players to equip for their character. Confusion is bad.

The problem is also made worst when items interact with talents that can lead to overpowered outcomes, which we must try to avoid at all costs in a view to fairness between player classes. (We don't want all our Players suddenly becoming Mages for due to a miscalculation on our part for example.)

Saying that...

It might be alright for later on in the game, where Players are more comfortable with the game mechanics.

I'll mull this over with Mojawk.

We are keen to add more variation/interest to the items. We just have to be very careful about such changes. There will be no changes to the upcoming content, but we are open to suggestions and ideas and are not ruling out possible changes/upgrades to items in the future.

That sounds awesome varkaz, all we ask is you consider it. One way that could create hybridization would be a "fusion" machine for armors. Where a person could fuse, for example, fuse battlegear and wrath fang together to create a hybrid armor that would have a slightly higher total attribute bonus'. But have them split evenly between both classes.

Edit: I know this would cost people a large amount, but that can be the cost for the extreme convenience of being able to have two classes with the same armor.

Fuse two current items into one. Interesting idea.

(...)fuse battlegear and wrath fang together to create a hybrid armor that would have a slightly higher total attribute bonus' (...)

...all cool ideas...

but after reading forums more, im begining to wonder where it leads since

there is always "2nd wave" coming which then post "please nerf this and that"

...at the end everything will be pretty interesting ... flat ~ .

I like the idea of hybrid gear, as that would not be OP, if a body that got 35 melee is compered to a body with 20 melee and 20 ranged. It would create hybrids that still would have hard to compete with they who are i.e. fully warrior.

But DON'T make a prophet-templar hybrid! I remember when someone suggested to make talents for that. People was completely upset about it. All thought it would be OP.

IGN: Player. I usually think in longevity point of view.
