Its been doing this a lot to many people, myself included. In a previous thread i read from a developer it seems they notice the issue and will be sending a patch for the game in a week possibly fixing the issue. The likely cause of it is possibly due to internet connection. Idk the cause for sure Im not a developer just a forum poster who likes Dank Memes and post a bunch of threads and posts.

We are aware of the crash on the world map and we have identified what is causing it and we plan to roll out a fix in the first update due next week.
