There are mixed opinions on any changes (see here and here) to de-leveling in the game. Before looking at potential changes I first want to find out if you would actually like us to make changes before discussing what the changes could be further.

This poll will run for 48 hours and if over 50% of the community would like a change we will look into it further.

If we changed it, I'd suggest we look at something along the following lines:

If your AL is more than 5 levels below the creatures level, we would apply a x% reduction to the xp you gain from the creature. Assuming 'x' is 5, this means if you were 8 levels below the creature, a 15% reduction would be applied to the xp you gain.

In-game poll please. This will reach out to everyone rather than just the frequent forum users.

can we have a poll that asks " Do you think it should be okay to relevel off the same creature for hundreds of levels? "

An even better question would be to ask, "Is it okay to exploit a loophole in the game?"

Then have the poll created be a public one. See how many people would openly admit to be an exploiter.

(If you don't want to admit you're an exploiter either don't vote, or vote the right way)

they will never admit to it even though it is obvious that it is an exploit

In-Game poll might work - Hoof, can you make this the first item on the list if we want to concentrate on this information? I didn't even notice this was on the news feed until I looked through the items.

It's a good thing there is only 1 exploit in the entire game... oh wait!

Lets just work on one exploit at a time yeah? Simply because other loophole exploits exist, that means we shouldn't work to close another?

How is getting to level 1800 and then getting back to level 1800 an exploit? Personally I agree that losing 400-600 is a "notable or heroic act"...

I do agree that the real issue is AM 500.

Why don't we get to the point and make the poll: Should we get rid of AM 500?

Something tells me most of the yes votes would disappear. LMAO!

I still think a really simple solution to this would just be to adjust the xp based on how many levels higher the creature is than your actual level.

Egami you're missing the point entirely I fear. It's not the losing and regaining of tons levels that is the exploit.

It's remaining in a higher level map and doing it all from one type of creature. (or even ONE creature if you have AM500)

Am500 isnt the problem any more than blaming a gun for a robbery

This is a very broad question as compared to the others. So it's hard to say yes or no as a change could be good, but it could also be terrible...

I'd envision we would change it to something like the following:

If your AL is more than 5 levels below the creatures level, we would apply a x% reduction to the xp you gain from the creature. Assuming 'x' is 5, this means if you were 8 levels below the creature, a 15% reduction would be applied to the xp you gain.

I don't think we need any chance, as loosing levels goes faster then gaining levels. Just think about it, someone else hits you and you loose xp, this means that you have spend ZERO stamina and loose xp. Why not chance it that you can only loose xp if you initiate the combat :)

Relevelling is a net loss, you could have used the same stamina to go further, and now you are on a standstill.. And you want to make it even harder to get the levels you once gained back??

Everyone has the opportunity to delevel themselves in the current game. It's not an exploit as a few (loud) players have suggested.

The Bounty Board hasn't been as active in years as it is now. It's actually bringing a lot of new players to try the BB out.

In fact, the top guild would be able to be overtaken by another guild if they releveled many players. A little competition never hurt anyone.
