We would like to present the roadmap for November 2023 - February 2024!
As always, roadmaps are a guide and subject to change.
As we head to the end of 2023 (eek, so soon?), we've got new seasonal content coming your way. For the start of next year, we would like to focus on updating the Realm Chests, and to bring about the GvG update that you have been waiting for.
We were planning to get it rolled out before the end of 2023, but decided that in order to tend to a number of other important updates, and to get Hoof all caught up with his return, we will aim for the beginning of 2024 and to give the playerbase time to prepare for the changes.
We appreciate everyone who has given us feedback over this year. As always, feel free to share your thoughts and concerns below.

Durability damage to gear is all that occurs. No gold loss or xp. The same thing can occur when leveling or hunting etc. No need for a gvg opt out in my opinion.
With regards to the main post, updated rp packs are nice of course , but what about updated rp items and recipes etc? What are the new level ranges? And how rp is awarded and so on? Post seems very vague.
Cheers~
Hello Maehdros!
We will make another post with more details about the RP Packs, and any other plans we do, such as new items or recipes!
As for Level ranges, we feel we'd introduce these after the trial period, but we will of course keep ourselves open to trying it out sooner if need be!

Just like the Relics, we believe this will give Defending Guilds a chance to prep, and allow Guilds to strategize before the conflict begins.
There was some talk about how much notice a Guild should be given before a conflict begins. There have been a few suggestions thrown around: 1 hour, 2 hours, though we believe 1 hour will suffice for the trial period.
This preparation time will be separate from the 24hr Conflict Window.
The current activity timer is 7 days. We are open to reducing this to 48hrs during the trial period.
Mostly to boost activity in the middle-late ranges. Currently, the plan is to expand these ranges after the trial period.
Long overdue for some sort of update. We will post again with the proposed change to allow some time for feedback!
As these proposed changes will affect many of you, we urge everyone to give us their thoughts and opinions!
Thank you!

This buff should NEVER make it into the game ... this is one area that demands time and effort to be successful in (unless, like others, you buy locations) - why does this aspect of the game need nerfing ?IF you're adamant about adding the buff, then randomise all the SE locations - otherwise, I could do a whole sweep, for EVERY SINGLE SE, in minutes ...
Good Morning Pardoux!
This buff is not being added to the game Its name was featured in a past roadmap, but we removed it as we believe it's not something that should be added at this time in its current iteration (in other words: it needs reworked or discarded entirely). It was shown because Tilley asked what happened to it
Thank you.

Morning everyone!
Thank you so far for the feedback I would like to clarify a few things and add some reasoning as to why we decided to explore certain buffs!
We realise there was a bit of discussion a while back in another thread about what to do about Reign of Terror. There are a number of imbalances in the game, some of which have been around for a some time. While it might be easy enough to simply delete a buff from the game, we need to take into account any rippling effects of that.
Relic Defender was a buff that was suggested to us by a Player, and since we were already planning on bringing some sort of counter skill to the table, we took it on board.
1. remove Reign of Terror or add a buff to counteract it
Hello EpicPiety, I understand that opinions can change overtime, but we took this suggestion that you made some time ago and decided to explore the latter. I'd be happy to hear why you'd be against a buff that could counter it, or if you have any suggestions yourself what would make a Skill like Relic Defender more worthwhile? Thank you for your feedback so far!
Relic Defender is a waste. In addition to the reasons already stated above, the only time a player will use it is when they are actively engaged in a relic "struggle" with another guild. Otherwise, nobody is going to waste their stam to keep relic defenders buffed 24/7 on the off chance someone might come along and decide they want that particular relic at that particular time. People don't usually give a warning that they are about to take a relic and once the relic has been taken, there's no point in using the buff because the damage has already been done. Extremely limited use and not worth the effort.
Hello yotekiller, thank you for your feedback! Do you think increasing the duration of this skill could add extra value to its usage? 30 minutes doesn't really cover much, especially when it's up in the air whether a Relic is going to be attacked or not.
As for Galvanize, we wanted to try something a bit more experimental. A buff that could work in conjunction with another when it activates. However, we do see how fiddly this could be and how Healer itself has, in its current availability, little chance to activate. Now, I would like to clarify how Galvanize actually works:
Galvanize, when activated, increases the combats max Hit Points using the player's base HP attribute. It will not, in its current form, be further boosted by the likes of Fortitude and Severe Condition.
What happened to Farsight & Reversal?
Hello Tilley, thank you for your feedback! We decided to take Reversal away (for now) as it worked a bit too similarly to another skill - Reflection
As for Farsight, I am certainly open to share it in its current iteration. Note that it is currently not ready for release:
Farsight
Reveal if a Super Elite is in your current realm. At level 125+ it has a chance of revealing the location as well.
We are happy to add All for One to the Player Skill Tree, unless there are any objections to this I am personally of the opinion that, instead of trying to fumble and quickly find a different skill to add to make up for those which might not make the update, that instead we just leave it for another time.
Thank you for the feedback so far!

I don't know what % of players would want HCS to spend time on questing content but hopefully there are meaningful or substantial rewards that are hard to ignore like the epic quests or the Christmas quests at level 3000 for leveling pots.
Thanks for the update!
Hello!
As a writer myself, we will be able to dabble into content that admittedly hasn't seen much attention. In regards to Epic Questlines that have yet to finish (most notably Present Darkness) I personally will be happy to deliver that conclusion that so many of you have been asking for
Thank you!

Sad to see no arena on this roadmap - see quote below from February 2022.
Quests? Like, finishing the Epic Quest?
https://www.fallensw...st&quest_id=677
Hello Tilley!
Yes, I am quite aware that there are things still to work through! And as such GvG and Arena have not appeared on the roadmaps.
As I'm sure you are aware, Fallen Sword has a relatively small team, and a lot of the changes people ask for acquire the need of backend changes that, due to the age of the game, can cause other things to break. We understand that it can be quite frustrating waiting for substantial changes to areas which players are quite fond of, but all we can ask is your understanding and patience.
Thank you.
