Your list is too great, the arena tokens, for example, I have never had 1k tokens, and most likely never will....   Your idea is a good one, the list,  however, needs serious tweaking to stimulate activity on a game wide scale

 

The list alone shuts out all but a very very very few.  That you won't admit this is the real kicker.  It is DEFINITELY not for everybody, and will stimulate activity for only those very few that can afford the time and investment to have these things....   

 

The average player, the newer player, the free player will have little chance.  If that's not separatism, I don't know what is.

Welcome to this side of the street.  

 

@Mary, it's not your idea that I disagree with, it's that massive list.  It needs some serious adjustments in order for the idea to be good for the game as a whole.

I think if something promotes activity within the game is good for the game as a whole.

Involving players from multiple facets of the game (Arena, Ladder, Titan, so on) can be good too. Very few players have access to *all* the resources on this list. I think most players will find themselves taking to the market to get their hands on these upgrades. Eventually, a shortage of goods will happen and everyone (little guy included) will try to get their hands on anything they can sell at a profit.

It will create activity in the long term, because even if they "big guys" don't take long to get it, the "smaller guys" will have something to work on for the long term.

The list might need some tweaking (less Hunted Cow items, higher # of lower Epics because of availability) but beyond that, I think something like this could benefit *everyone*. Some will just get it faster than others, that's all. Which is not a new thing, but hey.

Exactly what I thought, the important part isn't just the 'big guys' getting the rewards, it's about creating a demand for different items throghout the whole game, creating possibilities for the 'small guys' to make profit and become one of the 'big guys' someday.

take out the stam gain and it would prob work.some how i cant see the cows just giving out stam gain like this ,for example as soon as it came out there would be 4 or 5 guilds with the structure in about 1 hour

  then they would all race around in ah and buy everything up ,forcing the prices up for everyone else dont say it wont happen cause we all know that is what will happen

while we are waiting for HCS, they can implement this awesome feature:

the amount you enter will be transfered (substracted) from your FSP account to your "FSP chest" that will appear in your Mailbox !!!

(EXAMPLE: if your account has 1000 FSPs and you input 200 FSPs, then your account will have 800 FSPs & the "FSP chest" a value of 200 FSPs !!!)

then this "FSP Chest" (hope HCS will give it a cool design) can be gifted to players, this will generate activity especially during events, occasions, holidays, ...... 

this is much better than just receiving fsps (proven in other games & sure many saw it in other games, I ♥ it)

hope we will see it before the NEW year & at the same time HCS can observe the activity during that day

EOC is currently at 4725, the highest level one in the WHOLE list is the Steamforged one at lvl 3600, ALL others are lower than half of EOC or much much lower 

SO because of ONLY 1 single high lvl one (3600) out of the MANY lower ones + even that 3600 one needs more lower items to invent, you claim "everything is for EOC????

1. the structure (tower) you are talking about is an upgrade available for 100 FSPs each (EVERY guild can buy it), the "ORBS" are invented & placed in the Towers !!!
2. so "sacrificing" many epics to invent an "ORB" or even a tiered one that requires HUNDREDS of epics WITH Stam Gain does not make sense for you that they will get Stam Gain in return?????

yes, that's the idea, to create activity in the LONG term for EVERYONE regardless of being high or low level & as I proved above, the vast majority of the items are in range of low players !!!

like I keep saying, everything can be changed BUT I honestly think the Hunted Cow items need to stay, this is NOT only about the unused epics, some who want it faster will have to "sacrifice" their own epics for the greater benefit of the guild & I know many who would !!!

in Real Life, when we gift someone money or an object (be it for a birthday or any occasion) then do not we often "wrap" it up?

the bank note stays the bank note and the object an object, still we wrap it up, why?

it stays the "same" BUT we keep doing it, it's about the gesture !!!

 

I do not know if you are aware of this but those of us who donate know that during the X-mas special offer you can input the name of a player (friend) you want to gfit FSPs & then the player will receive the FSPs with a nice X-mas message, it's a nice "trick" / idea that I have seen in other games too & it works !!! 

it's still the "same" as just sending FSPs directly but still players do it !!!

 

if it does not hurt anyone (which it obviously does not) BUT most importantly as I have seen in other games will promote activity (especially during events, occasions, holidays, ......) so I am all in for it !!!

it is a "strategy" used by game developers & it seem to have the desired effect !!!

I am sure once its implemented many will use it !!!

Mary, your list is a bit unrealistic, sure, many of those things are AVAILABLE at a certain level, however, ATTAINABLE they are not.  I know you intend this to be a group/guild activity, so explain to me, how are things like arena or ladder tokens supposed to be shared?  And RP items must be purchased by a guild member with the permissions to do so.  Not every member has those permissions, nor should they.  Titan hunters are a different breed entirely and although most guilds award Epic drops to the player that secured it, not all do so.  

 

 

As I said several times, your idea is a sound one and appears quite interesting, but your list is not attainable but by a select few of die hard players that have been around 10+ years.  I'm not trying to insult you or troll you, I'm just trying to point out that it's a bit much to expect from the average player, especially the newer players and guilds just starting out.  idk about you, but I feel these players are our future, and making more things that appear out of reach will drive them away just as surely as the misconception that EoC is the only goal to this game.   More short term goals that are a bit more easily obtained might be better.

It also has the benefit that some of us stay in the game - not so much for the game, but for the ppl in it.

 

I fail to see, how having something serious you can do in/with a newly formed guild, can drive someone away from the game? If you do not know how to, or care enough to plan out how to obtain a goal - then you will most likely never be very succesful in a game.

More simply put; If you can't be ar**d to put in some effort, maybe you should not play? I can tell you, that if you don't get of the very comfy bar-chairs in TED and partake/provide, you will soon enough find yourself standing outside the bar.

 

Oh, and of course in some guilds you can play sitting in a bar-chair all day long - just don't complain about others getting ahead, and collect more shiny stuff than you have.

 

If you want to have access to the same stuff and trinkets the EOC players do, well.. get to EOC.

 

If you think only EOC players are able to perform/collect/gain/buy/win/whatever the looooong list of different things needed in the OP, I would suggest you have been playing the game wrong.

I'm done trying to help people in this game, it's becoming quite obvious that I'm a joke to even so called friends in this game.  You guys run it, you guys help the myriad of new confused players coming in on the half finished app every day.  You guys let them know why THEY don't cut the grade cuz they aren't at EoC and in TED....

Well said, I wish more people would post on here that have long stopped. The recipe to a game is rather simple need things to strive for... Especially work together towards in the cases of guilds. Socialism will not work in a game, enough said.

Sure that might help the decade+ old player that has been here forever putting in absolute bare minimum time and in some cases just logging in and nothing else. Needless to say that player also hasn't been willing to fully learn the game either. True gamers want something to strive for and they will work towards it.

Does not correlate but nice grab and derail. People crawl out from the sewers I swear. Lots of time goes into theory crafting, more than you can even imagine anyway. Spend days and days of playtime doing it . There is a reason why people look to us for answers and won't find them themselves.

Who are you speaking for then? Who are those, who cannot speak for themselves? I want names, not just another "there are others" or the even more famous "we are many". Also, can I see the signed contracts for all those you are spokesperson for? I mean, giving away rights to speak on ones behalf, sharing opinions, making statements in public and such - I would personally require a few words in writing before letting that happen.

 

As for the separation angst, no need. Should this get implemented in some shape or form, we will still be here. We will just have something more to do. Oh, and you could find somewhere to stay, where there are others around you (aka anyone is free to join a bigger guild.. or forming a big guild 'emselves).

 

For the rest of your post... well... sure ... you can feel that way if you want. A bit much for me personally, but hey, it is 2020 and you are a strong and independent woman, and can pull the mom-blame/martyrdom card anytime you want to!

Mary, I truly apologize for assuming that you posted your idea expecting honest feedback not only on what the merits of your idea are, but where it could possibly need work.  Carry on, I see that only "yes men" are needed and I'm sorry that I assumed that you would be open to suggestions.  I am truly sorry that I muddied up your wonderful collection of nothing but glowing reviews.  No insult was ever intended.

 

 

 

 

Everybody else: if you aren't EoC and in a "select" top guild, go ahead and give up and go play another game.  We are obviously playing this one wrong and have no right nor any business being here. (Sorry, Ice if I have sullied the reputation of FFS in any way here)
