When you resurect another player, you endow them with a Necromancy Buff. The Necromancy buff prevents death or shields all incoming damage. It's not a long buff, 2 seconds or so. Just long enough for the freshly raised player to pop a pot or otherwise self heal. A way to avoid the insta re-death....

2 seconds simply isn't long enough tbh,i'd say 5 seconds

And it gives them move out of harm's way, in case location was part of the reason they died. Since they don't rez where the rezzer was...

you yourself decide when you revive and with that you can heal up right away if you still insta die then you just wanted to die again

that can help alot on ARG if a dps die to res get 2-4 sec to use a HP pot and on a 10 sec CD to next pot to get mana but who do ARG nowdays?

I agree with that; also I need a grind crew for ASV; any 45 or higher who wants their set and can set some time aside, I am willing to help.

yeah; asv, for me, is the only way to get infernal flakes and cheaper gems
