Plasma Lord Vanity/Armor

My idea was, in epic treasure which you get from 1st through 8th (i believe) you could get legendary armor or vanity of your level that kind of makes you look like the Plasma Lord, and it would look like the frozen elemental set, with a Plasma Lord mask. If it was an armor the full armor would give you buffs/attributes depending on the class (15+ points in the talent tree). Also this armor/vanity wouldn't be 45's only it would be 15-45 (people that can go into the Trappers Atoll) but you would have to beat multiple Plasma Lords to get the whole set at 1st -8th by the damage you do. Another thing is if it is 15-45 you can get one every 5 levels.

 

This is just an idea so don't go crazy over it :P

I like it all though;

 

  1. I do not understand the last two sentences.
  2. I do not agree with the ranking system going by damage.

In regards to number two; I have suggested a different method of going about the stupid, sloppy mess of a ranking system in place for the Plasma Lord. I suggested instead of it being a messy random pick, or according to damage (only level 45 warsins will ever get the loot), it should go according to whoever tries the hardest.

 

How can the HCS measure this? Simple, go by how much mana they use on the PL himself. THOUGH, I already thought some classes burn mana more than others soo... you could count the number of special abilities used (anything but basic attack). & measure something off of that?

 

Could still definitely be improved.

As far as I can tell PL is not ranked by damage.

 

Supposing it is NOT rng ranked (my first guess), the best I can figure is that it awards ranks based on who hit it most recently before death. (person with the kill gets 1st, person who hit just before that 2nd, etc.)

 

Measuring based on damage, skill usage, mana usage, or other factor favors some classes significantly more than others (Prophet could spam heal himself or herself for the entirety of a PL boosting chance based on skill/mana usage while not contributing a whole lot, as one example.)

 

I don't really see why PL loot needs to be changed.

 

On topic:

 

Vanity that gives bonuses, no.

PL vanity that doesn't give bonuses, shure why not, but you'll likely get less of a chance for that disc as a result.

 

Armor drop from a PvP area boss for various levels, let's go for this one, but let's also go for it with a new boss that isn't PL.

 

We're also looking at greatly improving our open-world PvP zone by adding a second island that significantly larger than Trapper's Atoll.

 

Maybe something in there?
