Oh no, got no clue who you are. Definitely dont remember wishing i was as good as you, or spending hours trying to recreate your style. Sorry pal, just not ringing any bells. Who were you again? HaloArtist? or snuglebug? or maybe Grimmhawk? LichBlader? Look at me name dropping, im showing my age here lol. I would be absolutely shocked if anyone else remembers those people.

most of those in that list are a mix of the 1st generation and 2nd generation artists dont feel bad most of them are not even known to the new generation like me i died out too lol XD

Yes, I was talking to Noeni last night about how we both miss making graphics and the fun times we had doing GGT.  So, I came here to look.  lol  I hope all is well.

Talking about the old days, surely I can't be the only one that remembers the days when the likes of Briggzy, Brishu, JimmyJoe and Darkarchon roamed these hallowed graphics halls. Heck I remember when DavidJames used to run the old SOTW competition...

nosympathy ...omg are you from that time too??? those names are rare to come by... those are the originals that i remember who actually inspired me to try out graphic designing

I always liked tawniteamo (I think that was the spelling of his name)... He did really good avatars as well back in the day.   I was mad when fs changed the forum and I could no longer get my old avatars from past avatar contests i had.  lol

Yeah I'm a grizzled graphics veteran, all those names used to be the regulars when I roamed around back then. There were others, like Deemer and Tawniteamo, as DMR says, that I remember too. Also, hi DMR! I made you this avatar years and years and years ago!

I really hate the font choice I went with then, but I was a beginner then!

miss this shit man...honestly pretty bummed about how this place turned out, but it all fell apart so gradually there wasn't much we could do. tbh don't see myself messing around with this sort of art in the future, but i'm really glad i did at one point and it was so much fun while it lasted.

 

not gonna lie i'll probably check back here once every few months like i've been doing, but at this point i think this place is pretty much done, so thank you so much to everyone who made this forum the special place that it was, and good luck to anyone who is thinking about getting started in this medium but this place probably isn't exactly the best place to do that anymore lol.
