i like to post a suggestion on classes

first class--->second class---->third class

Like for eg,

Warrior--->Knight--->Pladain

Mage--->Conjurer--->Wizard

Ranger--->Holy Fighter--->Bard

Prophet--->High Priest--->Dark Priest

Templer--->Scholar---->Sage

Assassin--->Berserker--->Warlord

In Classic D&D (before any of it was computerized) there was a Bard class.  You needed to be a fighter first, then a thief, then finally you could start to train as a Bard.

Would there be any interest in a music playing class of characters?  It might also make sense for them to play sometimes in rest xp areas -- giving themselves extra xp and extra rest to those 'listening'?

Here's my take on it.

Templar ==> Defender ==> Paladin/Champion

Warrior ==> Berserker ==> Executioner/Annihilator

Mage ==>  Occultist ==> Warlock/Magus

Assassin ==> Enforcer ==> Slayer/Reaper

Ranger ==> Tracker ==> Sharpshooter/Bard (Keeping the bard cause I like the idea of a musician class)

Prophet ==> Diviner ==> Seraphim/ArchBishop

Hmm... I think having classes like that would take some of the fun away from what this game is about. In the sense that, no matter what we choose to play we're able to take skills from other classes to help create our own unique hybrid character or at least create a character that is more towards our play style.

Though it might be nice to have more character specific skill that comes with more classes, I think it'd be better if there were more classes in general from crafting to various melee type or magic type character. Something allowing more role playing in a sense.

I think it should just be a title that you get when you have applied an amount of points in a certain skill tree.

Ex.

You apply 20 Talent points into Assassin and 4 points into ranger?

since you have 20tp on Assassin, your new class title would become Enforcer.

Ex.2

When you apply 35tp into Assassin, you can choose between obtaining one of the 2 class titles along with an exclusive Skill/Charm that goes with it?

Can you combine titles?  A scholarly high priest?  :)

Fun idea, I like it.

Penalize the people who experiment with mixed builds?  Or bonus for people who stay in one class?

Works for me, as I tend to stay with one class :)  But I don't know if it's a good idea overall, unless HCS wants to minimize mix and match with just a small splash into other classes.  I get the feeling the current philosophy is to encourage cross classes.

Meleager, ranger

Tuor, templar (Inactive)

Deimos, mage

Thangbrand, warsin (Mostly on vacation)

Bart, ??? (bene trades)

Well, they could have it such that you get bonuses if you have enough points in 2 skill trees like 10 in mage and 10 in warrior you get the title "Elemental Warrior" etc. Bonuses to solo classes, bonuses to hybrid classes, bonuses everywhere lol.
