secret quests and rooms

just had an idea i don't know if its be suggested before so hear it is ;-

 

in random locations in most areas in positions no one would think of going add a secret doorway to a room or realm in this room hide a quest, game, boss, prize which can only be gained in this room ( bound )of course this doorway dose not show on maps in any way so a player would have to stumble in to it and once they have completed the room they cant go back in ( one time only chance ) no porting in friends so it is a solo room and a time limit added before it can be found again

 

make the rooms mach the level of the player so if a L10 finds it a L10 to L12 prize is given but if a L30 finds the room a L30 to L32 prize is given but the prize would need to an epic prize worth players looking for the rooms :)

 

 

what do you all think

I like the idea of secret rooms, but I think the rewards could be i.e. a repair kit, a resurrection orb, a xp potion of any sort. The reward would be something that rewards who ever finds it with something that is good to have even what level you are, especially, if it's bound. (Then Newbies doesn't search for them only to sell the reward for a high price to a higher levelled player.) 

The secret quests have to be in the same place all the time, but maybe the place can only be found on i.e. night, Eldevin time (at arcane sanctrum, the wizard says: "Good night/day/evening/morning Winghilda")

The quest "A study in blood" was earlier very hard to find, if the secret quests would be as hidden as that quest (but, it could be found in the quest list -> people searched for it.) The quest(s) should be as hidden as "a study in blood" was and not show up on the list. 

A possible reward from a secret quest could be an additional ability-bar. Some people wants even 3 more.

I like this idea but I agree it should be a BoP item.

the prize could be random but as it would be bound there will be no selling except to a vendor make it a choice of weapon,  skill, potion, pet scroll, an emote the choice is endless but the prize would have to warrant the hunt by the players. i was thinking like having the dore appear under a bridge or in a pond or a wall of a house that ripples

 

there could be an added twist of having a door move about each map one in each realm OK have it in the achievements list enter and complete each room from each realm and as more content is added it could grow with the game

I"m for it, sounds fun :)

 

I am always exploring around going in buildings that seem to just be there but don't have an npc or really a purpose other then the fun of going in them and taking a look around.

 

 also it reminds me of some quests we have to go through windows or find some doorway to some secret area or something like that.  so *thumbs up*

This idea, along with a previous suggestion of secret quests would both be fun.  You never know what you'll find behind door number 1 until you open it.

im the same always looking around and there is somthing very simler to this being the spider house north of EC near Othalo woods so the syistem looks like it is ready to use just the content and prizes
