We need a post for a funding goal and put it to use to finalize eldevin's content as i'm sure it wouldn't take much to get current community to pitch in for final content long time coming. We might not be the largest gaming community but we are active in game and desire game to grow. Final content would be very nice either all at once or a few small updates to different areas like ascended dungeons, final profession, guild vault..etc. Even minor updates would be appreciated and show growth and willingness to finalize game from developers.

#951329 Improving Farming tools
Posted by Kriisz on 17 October 2015 - 08:26
At the moment there are three farming tools meant to improve amount of crop or the time in which it grows.
- Timid Scarecrow
- Basic crop dust
- Basic compost
My suggestion is to add 9 extra tools.
- 3 new Scarecrows, 1 useable starting at lvl 16 (eg. 40% increase), 1 at lvl 32 (eg. 60% increase) and 1 at lvl 48 (eg. 80% increase)
- 3 new crop dust, same as the scarecrow
- 3 new composts, same as the scarecrow
If you read the names, it is already suggested that at some point, better tools were meant to be added later on. After all, why call something 'basic something' if you don't intend to have an 'improved someting'. Furthermore, at several lvls in farming, you get to use an extra plot. However, using current tools, it is nearly impossible to use more than two plots without loosing a lot of crop due to disease. Improved tools would ensure farming would be more efficient and probably more fun as well.
Next, I would like to suggest that crop dust becomes craftable, like the compost. Now you always have to buy it and when finished with the stack, you end up with an empty bottle that is reusable only for water (for which you have a watering can) or for compost (which you can also buy, or craft) and you don't need loads amounts of empty bottles.
My last suggestion for improving farming tools is to look at the code behind crop dust. According to the description of crop dust, using it results in a 50% crop disease reduction. Experience however tells me there might be some reduction in crop disease, but it certainly isn't 50%. Not even a 50% chance of reduction.
#948006 what is this-rangers have a look!
Posted by KeS on 08 September 2015 - 19:20
other 1 handed weapons and ranged weapons have the 20/40/40
so why not the dirks for rangers.....this does not make players want to craft these items and if anything...it screams to the many nerfs to rangers that caused people to leave the game or no longer be a supporter

#920289 [Implemented] Vanity Chest Dimensions
Posted by TimeWillTell on 18 February 2015 - 05:46
Hey guys,
Not sure how easy this would be to implement but it would be nice if the vanity chests had different dimensions, so you would make it 11 Slots high and 8 slots wide (I know this adds an extra 8 slots).
The reason for this is we would be able to neatly and conveniently store a Full Set of Vanity clothes in 1 line head to feet and can fit 4 complete sets per chest.
I've added a very rough picture made with MS Paint to show my idea
Best regards,

OK, seriously. Maybe it's due to the classic feel of the game, but even before mounts I didn't find the walk so bad. Try farming . Occasionally I'd just walk to/from Nidaros rather then fly, so I could stop off there and update quests. I'd also run down there for lvl 16 foraging (that was before TA).
(Who remembers the Treefolk that hung out near the road as you got close to the Junction Inn. Catching unsuspecting lowbies trying to cut that final corner.)
That said, I can understand wanting to make the running around easier. If you decide to go for it, keep it as simple as possible. I imagine adding a flight point is easier then a tunnel, so I'd go with Spirit's suggestion. Tunnels sounds like a cool idea, but there are much bigger priorities right now.

#899799 Realm Map Images Pack
Posted by l3fty on 11 November 2014 - 10:50
Hi everyone,
We've had some requests for our map images to be made available for use in the Eldevin Wiki and fan websites etc. We've put together this .rar file containing all the map images, hopefully some of you will find it useful
http://files.huntedc..._realm_maps.rar
There is also the pretty map of the world already on the wiki which is really handy for navigating.
You can visit the fan created/maintained wiki here : http://eldevin.wikia.com/
This is a stop gap until we get time to improve the in game map to make navigation much easier.
Enjoy

In case any of you forgot, this is the original world map from the prologue trailer:
Right now we only have 1/6th of the world map available completely in-game, the Eldevin City area, which governs the Nature Orb.
To the left of the Nature area is the Bemalic Ocean, which houses the Isle of Nasaroth right off the shore of Eldevin Kingdom's western coast.
To the right of the Nature area is the Odious Sea, which houses the Everdusk Isles, so far including Illaneska, Greenreef Isle, and the Forbidding Isle, but may include more.
To the southwest of the Nature area is the island-continent Khazin-Daer, home of the Fire Orb, also resting in the Bemalic Ocean.
To the south of the Nature area and directly east of the Fire area is Vambrok, home of the Blood Orb.
To the east of the Blood area, southeast of the Nature area, and south of the Odious Sea is Vahkir, home of the Dark Orb.
To the north of the Nature area is Xaralith, home of the Light Orb.
To the east of the Light area, northeast of the Nature area, and north of the Odious Sea is Calderheim, home of the Ice Orb.
As far as what I've been given, I can guess these themes for each area:
Khazin-Daer. A jungle island-continent with citizens between savagery and civilization, who look upon the great volcano with envy. The Fire Orb rests near or in the volcano with its keeper.
Calderheim. A land of snow, ice, and frostbite. Very few creatures live here at all and those who do are some of the most vicious you'll ever find. The Ice Orb rests upon the tallest mountain with its keeper. May be incorrect, as the Huntreal Plateau is so icy that the World Map may be in the Southern Hemisphere instead of the Northern. This would explain Xaralith's desert-like nature despite the cold. Additionally, the Ice Champion set suggests that Calderheim has ninjas and/or cat people, meaning it's inhabited.
Xaralith. Desert as far as the eye can see, teeming with treasures not worth the risk of death by heat. In a great pyramid, the Light Orb rests here with its keeper. Partially disproven, as the Light Orb wielder rules the Order of Light from their HQ, most likely a temple or cathedral.
Vambrok. Land of curses and races made by them. The Vampire Lord lives here with his legion, no longer known as the keeper of the Blood Orb - simply now its master. Not exclusively disproven, but we now know that Vambrok has chimeras and other alchemic/pseudoscientific features.
Vahkir. A land of darkness and death, barren of life not mutated beyond repair. Tristan rules his hordes of evil from some place unknown within these shadowlands.
Of, course, this second part is theoretical, but makes sense when compared to most other fantasies out there that have similar themes.
I do not know if we'll ever see the other 5 areas in-game, but atleast this way you know that they exist.

#908186 Idea for Level 50 Ranger Set Design
Posted by D4VYJONES on 10 December 2014 - 02:44
While Hercules is famed for his giant war club, let's not forget about his bow. Hercules owned a bow that shoot arrows like no other, for it would sure to deliver death as the wounds they left couldn't be healed. Each arrow was individually dipped in the venomous blood of the legendary Lernaean Hydra, making it a mighty weapon indeed. Hail Hydra!
Hercules uses his bow and arrow in numerous occasions:
He shot the Stymphalian birds in his Sixth Labour.
Hercules about to kill Geryon with an arrow to the head in his Tenth Labour.
King Eurytus of Oechalia once promised his beautiful young daughter, Iole, to whoever could beat his sons in an archery contest in which Hercules won. All these suggest that Hercules is as skilled with ranged weaponry (bow and arrow) as he is with melee weaponry.
Hercules is a master of archery, conquerable by none!
Last but not least, lion head-dress comes from skinning, which falls under the category of leather making. Ranger uses medium armor while warrior does not.

#901808 Remove cooldown pop up confirm for group summon
Posted by Mongo on 18 November 2014 - 12:45
It is only 10 silver, do we really need to have the annoyance of a going through the confirm and cooldown screen just to do this?
Make it so we just get charged 10 silver every time we use group summon.
Can make it an option in settings if you feel it still needs a confirm for lower levels?
