Not a good idea because some people aren't able to participate. I didn't run this one because I didn't have the time. Had it gone over a weekend I would have gladly joined in but the event was weekdays only so tough break for me. Not complaining, that's just the way it is and I'll try to catch the next one. The flip side of that is I shouldn't be penalized because I wasn't able to play at certain times.For fun! ZOMBIES: UPRISING!

Good point. I was fortunate enough to be able to get at least 5000 kills...but I did wonder...at one point, only 444 active members online...was that because of the weekday event -- is the active count higher on the weekends? This was the first GE I can recall that began and ended during the weekday and the first not to achieve top honors... just saying... Happy for my chests otherwise...

The accidental elite kill hasn't happened to me but the attack player page really shows sometimes when you are on the same loc with a player and you press the buttons too fast.

My pleasure. Although I'm pretty sure we aren't the only two who have made contributions to it. But thanks for mentioning the page, as I'm sure there are probably plenty of folks who didn't realize that it exists.
When editing it yesterday, though, I started getting warning messages that it's getting too big, and needs to be split up into multiple pages. So that will probably be happening before the NEXT global event :-)

It was the best of games, it was the worst of games. (apologies to C. Dickens) You can't please everyone, but I enjoyed it. Used some of my old rewards potions. Got some buffs from good friends, fell asleep at the keyboard, actually invented my first legendary thingy. And then I found chests in my mailbox. So there is one person out there who had a good time. I gotta send the Cows one of those new berry flavored salt licks......

I must say, I am very very happy with the new AL400 pots They make levelling a lot easier. Thumbs up for HCS for repeating this event. I am going to make good use of those new pots.

I've given up, pretty much, trying to guess the Cows' motivations, since I'm almost invariably WRONG.

That said, I thought the event went well. A lot of people liked (and continue to like) these potions - myself included. No, they aren't quite as shiny as the ones released for other events, but they're dead useful anyway.
I'm a bit disappointed that the community didn't achieve crystal or ruby, but not in the least surprised. There is almost always less interest in a legendary event in subsequent appearances than the first time, simply because the gear is viewed as already readily available and less valuable (and likely to become even more so). If and when the Cows implement their idea for getting rid of some of the legendary gear from the game, I think interest will pick right back up again. It's the old crystalline argument, in reverse.

The EVENT seemed OK for me... Actually invented several sets each of the Horror Horse sets and the Saurodon sets, so I probably made back what I put into the GE, and then some. I would have liked more choices/higher level pots, but I would do this Event again.

Does no one have a more accurate number of kills on global event? I wrote 14,500,000 on wiki but that was what I saw a half hour before end ... was 3 mins to late to check end number :x
