As expected, one alliance sits on the Mothership in Zeta1 and no other alliance will try to remove them. In Zeta1, the first alliance to control the Mothership lost it and indicated that the rewards were not worth the cost to fight for it.

Looks like in Zeta1 the Mothership is just a version of the useless silos....is it any different in the other regions?

Since the mothership upgrade was a bust and we have bugs with captures that seem to go unresolved, I am wondering if HC is going to cut their losses.

For the past couple of days the special offers have been non existent. Maybe HC has stopped any major offers because they don't want to have refund lots of dollars? Or maybe they are just going to let the game die on its own.

Well, the alt account abuse seems to have been stopped, or at least slowed, but the guilty parties apparently paid no penalty.  Meanwhile the alliances that were battered by that stupidity just have to suck up the losses.

 

Then we still have the ridiculous reality that a single player with 40M+ power can harass an entire alliance with 200M+ power and the alliance is powerless to stop it.  The single player has no territory to contest or defend, and no resource gathering ships to lose since they steal all they need, so they have no vulnerabilities.  The alliance members could mount a rally to sacrifice loads of units in a futile effort against the bully, but it's cheaper to just hunker down and wait for the bully to move to the next victim.  

 

I can't believe the game is being played as designed or envisioned by the developers, but it must be producing enough income for them to stick with the current shortcomings.  I guess player churn provides enough fresh new blood to keep the cash flowing.

 

I'm still playing, but have stopped buying anything since it just rewards the developers for their poor efforts.

Which is what the game will soon be. No real responses from admins on many issues: game balance, multi account cheaters. I guess they figure it's easier to churn new players than keep ones they already have.

Without major changes it will just be a few idiots with more cheats or money than sense. And yes, I know the admins say there are no cheats, but they are just fooling themselves. They encourage multi accounts when the TOS clearly prohibits. Cheats to gain currency outside the game are being used.

Sadly game is just a money grab that has seen the last dime they will from me.
