I like sausage and bacon. Thing is, we did mention how many different varieties there are of sausage. Then there are not only the flavor profiles, but also sausage links and sausage patties. Watching carbs, I tell ya, as much as I like bacon and eggs, after a few days of eating bacon every day, it is good to have a break. I suppose, with all the varieties of sausage, the palate can be exhilarated indefinitely. So, for a one time meal, stack on the bacon! For a long term deal, I would go with the general category of sausage.

Bacon is good with nearly every thing. (Though I do not understand the recent need to stuff bacon into EVERYTHING! Bacon booze? Why?)
Gotta say though, sausages are good as well. From the humble breakfast sausage made of mostly meat slurry to decent quality up to brat and bockwurst and beyond, sausages are awesome.

Turn in your man card! [Errr wait, I like bacon and I'm a female.] Turn in your human card! Thou shalt not question the use of bacon!

Oh c'mon, pick a side! It ain't that hard.
