Now I believe that HCS should work on updating sigmastorm. Why might you ask? Well simple it's actually a good concept for a game, yes it's similar to Fallensword, but it would cater for the people who are not interested in the mythical beasts and more interested in the techy side, the chance to be able to pick a class and so on, it would give people from FS something to do, more money could come in for upgrading other games, HCS YOU could get bigger, more publicity, add more content, bring more active people to the game, make it worth playing, anyone else's point of view on it?

This is a quot from Hoof:

We're planning to do an update soon which will include several improvements to the game. I'm not sure about content but we could look at adding a few missions and enemies to bring the content up to level 500"

The sad story of SS2 is embedded here... It was practically abandoned several months after it was recreated. Lack of motivation, broken promises, delays in content updating, unfixed bugs, and general neglect. I guess that HCS was then looking into 'new horizons' (what sadly proved to be a blunder), instead of investing in something good they had at hand. Sad, for it could have been a very good game, with a steady income attached to it. The game 'engine' is already there from FS, and so are the dedicated hard core players, so what more do you need ?

I would play it even if its not updated, still spend money if I need be. But I believe it should be worked on Mr Hoof, I would really like to see more people interested, see it become a good active game, with enough people backing me I'm sure it could happen

I've strongly considered trying Sigmastorm, but seeing this thread and seeing that (I'm assuming) well developed players are fed up with the lack of community support and development really makes me not want to waste my time on it.

It's a shame. I'd love to be able to help HCS by playing several of their games.

BG stated that the game is not going to be actively worked on by the cows. It was posted sometime in late 2013 or 2014 I believe.

We are no longer actively developing Sigmastorm 2, however we don't currently have plans to take it offline.
